Lahat ng Kabanata ng SURVIVING THE DEMON GAMES WITH THE LYCAN KING: Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 10

‎Melissa's POV‎‎The night was a frozen tale.‎I dashed barefoot onto the chilling pavement.‎My limbs wobbly, as blood dripped down my long bulky legs. ‎An explosive pain thrusting across my swollen core. ‎Tonight's client was a beast – one who enjoyed dehumanizing women to compensate for his manly inadequacies.‎Every step felt like chilly in my wounds. My lower back screamed for me to pause, but I shuffled it to the side.‎As I turned a bending corner, the sweet, sugary scent of Christmas pastries hit my nostrils like a tsunami.‎A thousand tiny lights flickered around the dimly lit Christmas trees strategically placed around the street's edges.‎The sound of Carol of the bell rang through the air spreading warmth into my cold soul.‎My torn see through dress hung onto me like the leaves of a shedding tree. ‎The icy glares of passerbys burrowed into my skin, their shameless chatters growing ever so slightly. ‎“Loose woman," They whispered, but I couldn't possibly care. ‎Not w

‎Melissa's POV‎‎A laugh escaped me, one I could no longer suppress. ‎Whoever was behind this prank did a good job. I almost found myself believing. ‎“Demon games,” What stupid name is that? Couldn’t they have come up with something more intriguing?‎“Very funny. Now get serious. Where are the cameras?" ‎Slowly I rose to my feet, dusted myself off, and began scanning the perimeters for clues.‎The voice stayed silent for a while.‎Then it spoke again, this time it was hoarse, deep, and way more creepy.“I haven’t the faintest idea what you’re talking about, miss,” She declared, her voice stern.‎“You are to return to camp at once, so the games can commence."‎As soon as the last word fell, the spark of light disappeared.‎The extinguishing of the flame felt like shattering glass to my already fragile heart.‎“Wait! come back! Don't leave!" I panicked, my heart racing as I glanced back and forth aimlessly.‎“Tell me what you meant by return to camp?"I screamed again and again, bu

Melissa's POV “The rules are violently simple. Stay alive, or die nicely," The system announced casually as though reading a weathermple. Stay alive, or die nicely," The system announced casually as though reading a weather forecast. “Each player possesses a number engraved on their shoulder. The number indicates your rank, and your ranks indicate your likability value. Here your likeability value influences your standard of living here. There are 101 ranks in total." My heart sank to my stomach. My hand instinctively ran to my shoulder tattoo. If the ranks were only 101, did that mean I was the most hated player.I glanced around the room, my eyes twitching as they fell on a frail old woman with white hair clenching on her wheel chair for dear life. Her skin was pale, white as though blood deprived. Her limbs trembling as though she could fall dead any moment now. How exactly that sickly woman had managed to rank higher than me was beyond my comprehension.Yes maybe I am a littl

Melissa’s POVA deafening silence spread across the arena.Tyler’s body stood for half a second longer—headless, swaying—before it collapsed to the marble with a wet, hollow sound.Immediately screams erupted.Panic detonated through the group like a bomb. Players scattered in every direction, some tripping over their own feet, others frozen stiff, mouths open in silent terror. My legs felt rooted in place. My breath vanished.“Player One… dead," the system announced, sending an even greater shiver down our spines.“Oop! I underestimate my own strength," A low chuckle echoed. “Oh well! Let's have some fun." The alpha Devourer raised its claws, ready to strike. At this point the crowd had gotten frantic with fear, running haphazardly.I, on the other hand had zoomed out. I should I have been panicked, instead there was an eerie calm that spread through my veins. This wasn't happening—Tyler was supposed to be the male lead.He was supposed to defeat the forces of evil, why was he dead

MELISSA'S POV My vision felt blurry. The world tilted sideways, colors bleeding into one another as a sharp ringing filled my ears. The Devourer loomed over me, its claws raised high, then came the descent.Next thing I saw was a flash.A blinding, white, violent light slapped against my glasses, which were now unexplainably still fixed on my face. For a split second, everything froze. It was as though I was in some kind of a trance. Then, suddenly, the pressure vanished.Next came a heavy thud that landed beside me.I forced my eyes open just enough to see it—the Devourer collapsing, its massive body hitting the ground inches from mine, completely still. Its body was completely massacred, torn to pieces, like it was boneless. My mouth fell open. What…? What was happening? Was I dreaming? What monster did this? Was it a ghost?I asked myself a stream of puzzling questions but never came up with an appropriate response. This was crazy.I didn’t see anyone walk in.Didn’t hear footstep
