Alle Kapitel von Hated by my husband, craved by the billionaire Mr.Worthington: Kapitel 1 – Kapitel 10

Amelia flinched the moment she heard the car honk outside the mansion, her eyes welling up in despair. She had literally caused a scene at the grocery store earlier today, losing it after the cashier promised a refund under twenty four hours. Twenty four hours? That was enough hour to have her killed and buried by Hector. Yes, $90 is as little as a whit, but not with Hector. Not when he had warned her. Not when she knows what he's capable of. The fear of the unknown consumed her as she thought of the money a man was kind enough to have given her. It was exactly the $90 she had requested. Amelia had snatched the money in haste and scurried away as the thought of what Hector would have done to her reeled and overrode her mind. She couldn't even remember to thank him. Neither does she even remember what he looked like. Hector's wrath was all she could think of in all of that moment—the thought of giving Hector the $90 to appease him at least. But she'd only be lucky if he ever

Alex's mind reeled with the situation he had met the poor woman. It's been two good weeks and his mind wouldn't even try to let go off her. The way she had trembled. The disorientation shrouding her face and the fear in her emerald eyes. He just couldn't understand why a beautiful, gorgeous looking woman— who had made payment for her own groceries of over three thousand dollars—would go nuts over a simple ninety dollars error from the cashier. Alex always love to cook and would always go shopping all by himself sometimes, especially if he wanted to get the cooking done by him rather than his maids or when they are way too busy to do that. He had gone to the grocery in simple wears like his humble self and with black shades on. For a billionaire like himself, he had always loved the notion of 'the reclusive billionaire' title and had always wanted it that way. But since his encounter with that poor woman that one afternoon, he just couldn't help but dwell in that pool of myst

"I'm...sorry, sir. Do I know you from somewhere?" No way, he said mentally. His eyes locked on her as they raked her from head to toe. He saw what he saw but couldn't just tell apart. The lady in front of him seemed quite different from how he remembered her at the store the other time. More beautiful to say the least. But then the bandage tied to her hand. How could she possibly be the same person? He felt the need to be careful, not to make a fool of himself, especially when in the middle of a serious business transaction with the man in front of him. They had only met at the club for that purpose and to relax a little not with the hope of getting laid or involved with any woman. "N—No," he looked away, "I don't think so. My bad please." Amelia tried so hard to remember where she could have possibly known him from and then just when she was about to leave, it clicked. He was the man from the grocery store! The scene replayed in her head and though with shades on,

"N—No. This...," Amelia muttered, turning to face him instead. "This can't be. Hector, please tell me this isn't true." Hector only stayed still, responding her with a glare. Sharon flashed her glistening and expensive ring at her face. "Does this ring a bell now? You were a mistake, Amelia!" A pair of tears rolled down Amelia's cheeks. She couldn't bring herself to want to believe that everything Sharon had just said was nothing but the truth. That Hector never actually truly loved her and had only changed, hating her because she got pregnant for him and had agreed to marrying him even when he had told her not to agree to his father's proposal yet, until he was ready back then. That every promise, every whispers and every confession of his love for her were nothing but lies in the beginning. That while she was busy trusting him, believing him, loving him and wanting him, he was rather busy pouring that love to Sharon's cup instead. She had let it slide, forgiving him even

Hector, after playing his tricks and fully convincing the board, the meeting ended with all of the members agreeing to the proposal. Smiles rained on their faces as their legs finally began to walk out the conference room, each one of them in anticipation of the great day ahead with the mighty Billionaire, Mr. Worthington. "Your father would be so proud," One member said. "Thank you, Mr. Blunt," Hector retorted. "Make sure to keep us updated, okay," Edwina added. She turned to leave but turned back at him again. "By the way Hector, how's your wife and children? It's been ages since I last saw them." Hector responded succinctly. "She is doing just perfect, Edwina. It hasn't been easy keeping the kids at bay while being a full-time housewife you know." She nodded thoughtfully, "I can imagine. By the way, she wanted it after all. Please, do send them my regards." "I sure will," a facade smile curled up his deceptive lips. Being the only last member in the conference room, E
