A deathly silence fell over the altar.Alonso silently stood rooted to the ground, his eyes filled with pain and struggle.I could hear the guests gasping in their seats in the distance.Silver daggers were every werewolf's biggest fear. It was just two words, spoken lightly, even nonchalantly, but they were enough to plunge the entire ward into a deathly silence."Hailey Griffin isn't really carrying your pup," I said, making each word clear. "You can investigate using whatever method you want to find out the truth. But you would never do it. Am I not right?"Alonso took a step back and backed into the wall behind him. Three days later, a video suddenly went viral amongst the pack.The video was blurry and shaky. The setting was a dark alley, littered with trash in every corner. The outline of the Northside Palace spire could be seen in the far distance of the video's background.In the video, a she-wolf with a figure that looked exactly like mine was being surrounded by a pack of Rouges. Her back was to the video, and her long hair hung down from her shoulders.There was also a tear in the shirt she was wearing that exposed her shoulder, bearing a crescent moon-shaped birthmark that looked exactly like the one on my nape.The Rogues were laughing loudly and mockingly at her, and one of them even reached out to caress the she-wolf's face. My condition deteriorated rapidly after Alonso left with Hailey.When Lucy sent me back to the infirmary again, the main healer's face was terribly grave.
