Chrysalis’s POV I coughed into my hand as I stumbled through what seemed to be an underground tunnel. The walls were made of dirt. I could only see due to my wolf senses. It felt cool and damp as I kept moving along the walls, but my body was hot. I could see steam rising from my arms. I had no idea where I was going. Kayne’s POV How did I get here? I looked around the dark passage. If I wasn’t a wolf I wouldn’t be able to see a damn thing in here. I started to hear some noise down the tunnel I was walking in. It sounded like footsteps. I couldn’t tell if they were coming or going yet. I kept moving but stealthy so I didn't let whoever it was hear me approaching. As I got closer I could see an opening. I saw a figure stumbling through the open space. I waited before getting any closer to see if they were alone. I didn’t see anyone following them so I started walking again, moving closer. As I approached I could tell it was a female. And she was naked. Before I could get a better look or even a scent, water started pouring from the ceiling into the open space.
