Bianca’s Point of View I barely slept last night. Every time I closed my eyes, I could still feel Damon’s hand wrapped around my neck, his claws digging into my skin as he squeezes my throat shut. “You didn’t sleep at all, did you?” Emily murmurs as we walk down the hallway. Bianca’s Point of View I sigh, and put my book down on my bed. I can't concentrate. My mother told me to rest and to try and get some sleep before tonight, but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get my mind to shut off. I thought reading might help, but it clearly didn't. So I just lean back against my headboard, staring up at the ceiling. I stop in front of the door and reach out to open the door, but my hand hovers over the handle. “I can do this…” I whisper, but my voice trembles. The room is dim and it takes my eyes a few seconds to adjust, but as soon as they do, they land on Alpha Asher. He is sitting on the edge of the bed, leaning slightly forward, one hand braced on his knee. The moment I step into the room, his head lifts and his eyes land on me.
