ELENA POV It's been two days since our dinner swap. Aldric kept his distance from me, well not just me but Elara as well. I couldn't help but wonder if something was wrong. I don't know what happened between them at their dinner but Elara came back happy and her beautiful diamond necklace was on display around her neck. ALDRIC POV I sat down in the conference room trying to concentrate on the meeting going on but I couldn't help but think back to the look on Elena’s face. It's been two days yet I was still bothered.
