Seraphina Instantly, the man beside the door steps forward, offering his arm.If he is really Kenna's father, would he not notice that I'm not her?I have to keep my face hidden beneath this veil, not letting him get a glimpse of my face. I'm guessing the Cindersteel Creed didn't think this part through or were they expecting that I also pretend in front of her parents?Damn it!The moment I heal and get my wolf, I'm getting out of this cruel predicament.I place my hand in his and we begin to walk, the door opening wider. The entire hall rises. I mean the ten invited guests. To my surprise, they pull out their cameras and begin taking shots. They weren't even guests, they were media personalities, to spread the word that Kenna Starclaw is marrying Alpha Evander! My heart begins beating fast. Raze must not know that I'm one replacing Kenna. He mustn't know that I survived.Quickly, I face the floor as we move forward. The man says nothing to me which is quite surprising. Does he have

Seraphina I should make up my mind right now. The only way to be strong enough to get out of here and go back home is by healing my wolf and the faster means of healing my wolf is bonding with another alpha.Despite my decision, my fingers tremble slightly against the silk belt of my nightrobe as I stand frozen near the edge of this massive bedroom. The room is dim except for the golden lamp near the bed, casting shadows against the dark walls. My throat tightens as I watch him, standing near his wardrobe wearing nothing but a black robe loosely tied around his waist, exposing part of his chest every time he moves. My eyes betray me instantly, drifting there again. Goddess! His chest is broad and so firm and the hairs in there kinda makes something strange flutter low inside my stomach.I don't know but this is strange. I shouldn't be feeling this way towards a man I barely know. Damn it! Why am I even still staring at his chest hair?I quickly look away, only for my gaze to drift r

Seraphina His mouth latches onto me fully, sucking gently at first, then with more hunger, his tongue flicking and circling that swollen, sensitive bud. I can’t stop the sounds spilling from me, moans, whimpers, broken pleas that don’t even sound like my voice anymore. The wet heat of his tongue, the gentle scrape of his teeth, the way he groans against my flesh as if he’s savoring me… it’s too much.My hips buck against his face shamelessly, chasing more, needing more.Pleasure coils tighter and tighter inside me, my fingers fisting tighter in his hair, pulling him closer as my back arches off the wall. “Evander…oh Goddess, please… don't stop.” The words dissolve into a cry as he sucks harder, his tongue working faster. The orgasm rips through me even more violently than the first, tearing a loud, shuddering moan from my throat. My whole body convulses, waves of ecstasy crashing over me again and again until I’m trembling, gasping, nearly sobbing from the intensity.Gosh!! I am

SeraphinaHer face twists with fury, cheeks flushed red as she glares at Evander one last time. “Fine. Have it your way but remember Sarah still lies unconscious in the White Keep.” She stands furiously, scraping her chair backwards in a way that makes it screech harshly against the floor. Then she walks to me, touching a strand of my hair. “Don't for a second think that his delay is in your favour. You're just not pretty enough.”“You know I can actually drink poison today and fasten my death.” I say, smiling. “The only difference is…your sister and the rest will be dying with me.”She lets go of my chin instantly, her face tightening. That's the expression I expected.I widen my cheeks, infuriating her the more. She glances at Evander and spins off, silence taking over instantly. Now it’s just us. My pulse kicks up, the air feels thicker, heavier, charged with everything we haven’t said after last night. I doubt there is even anything left to say, I'm just the one over thinking thi

Seraphina The morning light pushes through the heavy curtains like an unwelcome intruder as I stand before the mirror in my room, too annoyingly bright. I wish I could just put the whole blame on the poor daylight, it would have been easier that way.But I myself am just as much to blame. My fingers tremble as I drag the brush through my hair with more force than necessary. Damn it! I can't also erase yesterday or the fact that I am not throwing myself at a man who doesn't see me beyond duty.I yank the brush harder, my jaw clenched so tight it aches. Furiously, I drop the brush on the table and twist my hair into a simple braid.Suddenly, the door swings open without warning.I gasp sharply and whirl around. To my surprise, Derek stands in the doorway, a large velvet box in his hands. His expression is carefully blank.“You really have to learn how to knock,” I snap.He lifts one brow. “Is it necessary?”“It is if I’m not your prisoner.”Quite ironic, I know.He nods, stepping in. “
