I stopped in Marysvale, Utah which was about halfway between home and San Diego. I checked in with Levi and Kiran and then sent a text to Jo. I slept for five hours, showered and hit the road again. I drove to the address that Levi had sent me and the place was perfect. I turned away from Jordan and a second pack member had a gun in his hand. I slipped the knife from the sheath hidden inside my boot and threw it.
