SKY We were living our best life, at last. And I really thought it was the ending of our story, but I guess I was a fool to have judged too soonThe first text came quietly like a mistake, like something I could ignore. It popped into my phone and I read it without second thought, I wish I didn’t “I want to have you.”At first I laughed, nevrous and confusedThought it was a prank or something Until the second one came. Then the third. Then they stopped feeling like jokes.“I’ve been watching you.”“You don’t know me yet, but you will.”“You belong to me.”My hands started shaking, cause it was enough for me to notice.Just enough for me to realize this wasn’t normal.…..“Ace…”He looked up immediately. He always does, like my voice is something he’s trained himself to respond to.“What happened?”I didn’t speak, just handed him my phone, and watched the expression of his face change completely His eyes darkened. His jaw tightened.Something dangerous slipped into his expression

SKY POV I don’t know if what happened between Ace and me could even be called a breakup. We never said the words. He never told me we were over.I never told him to leave. But somehow…everything between us felt different. The room was quieter than it had ever been.No more random hugs while I was studying. No more waking up to him stealing half my blanket because he claimed I was “hogging the bed.”No more teasing. No more kisses before class.Nothing.Just silence. It was funny. For someone who used to complain about Ace talking too much, I would’ve done anything to hear him call me an idiot again. He wasn’t avoiding me.Not exactly. He just… gave me space.Too much space.Every time I entered the room, he’d look up, meet my eyes for a second, then quietly return to whatever he was doing. If I went to sleep early…he came back late.If I stayed up…he somehow managed to fall asleep before I could even think of starting a conversation. It was almost impressive.Like he’d memorized m
