Ronnie's POV“Your father is returning.” She repeated, like I hadn’t heard her the first time.I stared at her intently, and the glass in my hand suddenly felt much heavier.“The same man who walked away from you?” I laughed bitterly.My voice rose.“The same man who left you and your co-wife to be with another woman?”I shook my head slowly. “You’ve got to be kidding me, Mom.”She lowered her eyes. “It’s not exactly like that, you know…”“Then what exactly is it?” I interrupted, my tone increasing by the second."I'm not staying under the same roof as that asshole!"
