Lahat ng Kabanata ng The Alpha King's Human Queen: Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 10

Kael's POV "You have to get married." Seer Maylin echoed the one thing I never wanted to hear from anyone. I was infuriated by her words, but I couldn't explode because my father laid on the floor, barely breathing properly. "Are you sure there is no other way out?" I asked, swallowing hard as the thought of taking a wife overwhelmed me. "It's… it's…" King Kane managed to mutter before coughing his lungs out. His omega helped him turn on his back while he coughed out blood. I remained in my place, used to the terrible sight. "It's not that… terrible." He mumbled, taking a deep breath. "You should at least get married to someone before I die." Ever since my mother died, my father, the king, had shown signs of losing his mind, and it deteriorated into a terrible illness that has no name. He had been bedridden for the better part of ten years, and I had been the regent ever since I was 19. The court was tough, preventing war was tougher, but I had scaled through these things, only f

Kael's POV “The name is Mara Vaelthorn.” Hyacinth said, putting me in a tight spot. I wanted to repay her for the humiliation she put me through the other day, and her gasp made me feel like I already won, only for her to easily corner me again. “May I know her name so we can continue with the occasion?” The priest asked through a mind link. Hyacinth was looking at the priest with a smirk, wanting me to embarrass myself even more. “Her name is Hyacinth Vaelthorn.” I responded to the mind link. “We are here today to join king regent Kael Ashveil, and princess Hyacinth Vaelthorn…” The priest began, and his voice faded as he kept speaking. “So, you know my name.” Hyacinth scoffed, shaking her head like she had caught me red-handed. ***I had asked for her name the previous day after court. Dacian had suggested seeing her again, but I wasn't up for it, and stooping low to see a human wasn't on my list of things to do. “What's her name?” I had asked him. “You're getting married and

Kael's POV Dinner ended quietly. The wolves probably saw a side of me they never thought they'd ever see. I didn't speak a word to either condemn what Hyacinth did, or what Jake Lavendar did. They all went home murmuring to each other, but I couldn't be less bothered. “You're really going to act like your pride isn't hurt?” Dacian asked. “Man, it's been a long day, and I just want to sleep.” I dismissed it, heading for my room. “What punishment do you want to mete out to him?” Dacian asked. “I know you don't care about the woman, but you're angry that anyone dared disrespect the Queen in front of so many people.” I growled, turning back. Our eyes met, and he didn't move an inch in fear. That was something only he could do. “You're saving him from the horror he should face before me.” I stated calmly, calming the rage that brewed inside of me.“If you want me to kill him, just say the word and it'd be done.” Dacian proposed, almost begging. “I don't want to ever see him in my c

Kael's POV “And what are the traders at the Radical territory saying?” I asked, while the elders looked at each other like they were making a quick election on who should respond to me. “Err… they're planning to refuse trading with anyone else until the next full moon is over.” Elder Kendrick said. “That's in ten days.” I responded. “Yes, and the North can't do without them, especially for the period of the full moon.” He added. “And what are their demands again?” I asked.“That the Queen retract her statement, and also apologize for speaking to Lord…” He held his tongue the moment I released an involuntary growl. “You're so lucky you didn't completely mention his name before me.” I said, and they all bowed. “They even requested his reinstatement.” Dacian added, causing my bowels to boil with anger. “Let it be known, and this is my command!” I growled as they all raised their heads to look at my feet. “If the Radical traders decide to play foul or funny, I will kill every sing

Hyacinth's POV “Hyacinth, why are you here?” Kael asked, taking a step closer to me, like he hadn't already taken up all the same between us. I swallowed hard, trying not to break character by showing fear. “Personal business, Kael.” I responded sassily. “Your personal business seems to be ruining whatever I have going on, isn't it?” He asked, and I shrugged. “You do have to get over obstacles when you're set to achieve something, yeah?” I tilted my head to the side , with a gentle shrug. Kael grabbed me by the neck, making my breath hitch for the second time. His hands were wrapped so that it wasn't so tight, but at the same time, it scared me. “The next time you're in my way, you might not like what I'd do to you.” Kael growled, pulling me up by my neck. I started choking a little, and he only stopped raising me when I slapped his hand. “Your Highness, can we come in?” Lady Charlotte's voice disrupted the deadly tension that was beginning to scare me. He dropped me
