Harley’s POVMom was busy in the kitchen when I saw Aiden out. I didn’t want her to see him and that was because I didn’t want to introduce him to her yet and Aiden understands as he didn’t even try to question my decision. I closed the door just as he was walking across the street to his car and sighed before going to the kitchen to meet mom. “Hi mom.”“There you are,” she said and looked up from her grocery bag. “Come help me make dinner, Holly said she is going out.”I nodded as a response and went to her, helping her to unpack the bag. I heard her sigh just as I was loading the fridge with the things she bought but I refrained from looking at her or asking what is the matter. “So?” she finally said, “aren’t you going to talk about him?”My hand froze from putting the ketchup in the stand and I gulped before asking, “talk about who?”“The guy I just saw you walking out? I’m not blind Harley. I saw the car parked outside and if Holly was alone when I came in so it must be you the gu

Milo’s POVI stood in the corners and watched as Aiden played with Harley. They have gotten so close these past weeks that everyone had gotten used to seeing them together and every rumor that their togetherness brought died off without even affecting them one bit. It all died off when it clocked two weeks of their relationship and they had come to school together in Aiden’s car, holding hands and acting all lovey-dovey like always. Everyone has come to accept them and although Holly tries to act nonchalant, I can see past her that she was really angry. I on the other hand, I am happy with my friend that he finally got his dream girl and happy for Harley that it all worked out in the end but I still can’t get over the feeling that it should have been me.I should have been the one with her, I should have been the one everyone knows as her boyfriend, I should have been the one tousling her hair now while she grinned up at me with those blue eyes that were filled with love. I haven’t go

Aiden’s POV‘UG, I will only see you. I belong to you. You don’t need to worry about that. I have become yours from the moment I came to this town. I have become yours without even knowing so nothing is going to change now. You will always have me, always.’‘It’s that a promise?’‘It’s a vow. A vow I intend to keep forever.’I heaved a sigh and climbed out of my car. Without planning to, I have sold my soul to UG and I doubt if she even knows it yet. I felt my pocket to feel the ring I had gotten earlier today. I know I can’t ask her to marry me yet, none of our families would agree but I intend to give her a promise. Every pore in my body now breathes her name. I know that I had indirectly told her just how much she means to me but it doesn’t matter, as long as she sees me and only me.I gulped and licked my lips, fetching out the bouquet of lilies I bought for her mom. She has finally agreed to let me have dinner with her family and tomorrow, we are leaving for Canada. I have never

Harley’s POV“Guys, we need a routine of how we are going to live in the next three weeks. We can always keep buying food but trust me, it would take out the fun in everything,” Josh said.“That’s true,” everyone concurred. “So what do you suggest we do?” Milo asked.“It’s simple, we are all in pairs,” Josh began.“Except me,” Milo interrupted with a raised of his hand and I saw Amber look down shyly. She is alone too, how sad.“Come on Milo, you have a British beauty sitting next to you so what else do you need?” Sam asked with a roll of his eyes.“Am is my friend,” Milo said, draping his arm on her shoulder and pulling her close. I saw the blush crept onto Amber’s cheeks and furrowed my brows. Could it just be she was shy of what he did or could it really be what I am thinking?“All the more reason you will get along well. You are just lucky there is an extra room, otherwise both of you would have shared one or would you have let your ‘friend’ sleep in the living room?” Sam asked.“

Harley’s POV“What are you staring at?” Aiden asked from the bed.I turned to him with a smile and asked, “is it just me or have you noticed anything between Amber and Milo?”Aiden furrowed his brows and pouted his lips as he thought about it and he shrugged some seconds after. “Other than the fact that he seems to be avoiding her?”Now it was my turn to frown. “Avoiding her? Where did you get that?”“Isn’t it pretty obvious?” He raised an eyebrow at me.I furrowed my brows and turned back to the window, staring right at the pool where they were standing and sharing a drink together. “Nope, it’s not.”I heard shuffling behind me and knew that Aiden had gotten out of the bed and it wasn’t long, I felt his arms around me. “Oh, I see what you have been staring at,” he whispered, deriving a chuckle from me. “Oh well, maybe I was wrong, nobody can tell with Milo. But the truth is, they are just standing together, talking and sharing what looks like orange juice, you shouldn’t conclude yet.
