Walk in the Rain

Ade’s POV I smiled as I jumped down from the tree on my feet unscathed. I dusted the dirt that was on my jeans and trousers. It had been another adventurous day in the forest. It was time to head back home. The forest was my best place any day, anytime. There was no human around to judge me and make me feel less of a human because I was a girl. The birds sang their songs peacefully, undisturbed, while I went about my own business. I hated the fact that I was looked down upon by pack members. I had committed no crime in being a girl. The moon goddess deemed it so and I didn't see why I should be blamed for being a girl.My name is Adelia Tate Peterside Tumble. My father was the Alpha of the Double Moon Pack, one of the toughest and most powerful Alphas the Wolf Kingdom had. He was so powerful that it is often said that my father shifted into a double-headed wolf whenever he was in battle. I was only a child when I first heard the rumor. I asked my father and he had only laughed abo

Getting Information

Ade's POV “Oh my God Adelia,” my Mum shouted the moment I stepped into Dad's study. Her mouth was wide open in surprise to see me drenched from head to toe.“Adelia, why are you drenched?” Dad asked, rolling his eyes before he started glaring at me before he cast a glance at my sister, who was sleeping on the couch. “Were you playing in the rain?” Dad asked again with his deep rich voice booming in the room.“No Dad. I had the decision to make, but I couldn't make it without taking a stroll, and the rain started to fall. I had no option but to take my walk in the rain,” I explained, grinning at my Dad. I knew I had to wait a second before he grinned back. He didn't disappoint me as he grinned back a second after my grin appeared on my face. That was my Dad. He could never scold me and my sister for long. I doubted if he even had the ability to stay angry with us for more than two minutes. “Don't tell me you are actually smiling at her,” Mum said to Dad in annoyance.“Me? No way. W

Double Moon

Ade’s POV“This might not be a good idea, but I think you have everything in your arsenal to do it, “Will, my male friend, said. “You are supporting this madness, Will?” Amethyst, my female friend asked glaring at Will. The three of us were quite a pair. Will was the only son of the Gamma which means he would automatically become the Gamma of our pack. I met Amethyst through him. She was the daughter of one of the high-ranking officers of the pack. They were friends and the three of us bonded in a rather strange way. We were friends, but we had boundaries, and we did not intrude on each other's privacy. We didn't just visit because we felt like it. We called or sent a text ahead and each time we came together, we were either reading or having a serious discussion about something. Amethyst was the youngest of us. Will would be eighteen in a month while I still had close to four months and Amethyst had another year before she turned eighteen. “I didn't ask you guys to come here so t

Silent Goodbye

Ade's POV“Now we confirm that she is special,” Mum whispered to Dad “Yes. I think I understand what my Mum meant, but how is that going to manifest? She can't rule the pack, she is a female,” Dad whispered back. They were both in my room and they thought I was asleep. After pack members had turned into their wolves and welcomed the moons enough, we all returned to our rooms. But I suddenly felt dizzy and fell. Dad had to carry me to my room but when he put me on the bed, I started to convulse. Mum had wanted to raise the alarm, but Dad closed the door and told her to be quiet. Right there in the presence of my parents, I shifted into my wolf for the first time. Dad talked me through it. By the time I shifted back to my human form, I was so weak that I couldn't lift a finger.“I am sure that she is not bearing the mark of the double moon for nothing. The moon came out on the day I gave birth to her and today again when she turns eighteen. It is not mere coincidence sweetheart,” Mum

New Life,New Place

Ade's POV My heart was beating too fast in my chest as I walked to the place where I was to take the test. I was sure my blood was going to show I was a female Alpha blood since they only tested male blood. The variation was going to show. “Are you a new trainee?” Somebody asked from behind me as I stood at the door.“Yes,” I said, looking at him from head to toe. He looked about my age, too, and he was dressed in simple jeans and a shirt with a bag over his shoulder.“Wow. That is cool. I had thought I was here too early,” he said and sidestepped me to open the door. I had been contemplating changing my mind and running back outside because I was scared to do the test. But the new boy took that option out of my hands as he opened the door. I was forced to follow him inside. There were two males in the room wearing lab coats. One of them smiled at us while the other wrinkled his nose, complaining that we were too early; it was just some minutes after nine o'clock am. We were asked

Impossible

Delvin’s POV “Alpha, we might have to leave early,” my Beta, Kent said from outside my bedroom door.“Go away Kent. I am not ready to leave here yet," I said and I heard the female beside me chuckle in excitement.“We must leave as soon as possible Alpha. It is the first day. You have to at least address them,” Kent insisted. I groaned, the female beside me decided to turn to me at that moment and placed a hand on my bare chest while she pouted. “Why don't you ask him to go away for real this time, Alpha? I might have some tricks up my sleeves to keep you entertained,” she said, trying to sound sexy, but she sounded like a dying cat.“Get out,” I growled at her and she immediately stood up and started scampering around the room to gather her torn clothes before she ran out. “Alpha,” Kent greeted as he came in after the female had run out.“What is the worst that would happen if I don't address them today, Kent?” I asked.“You will then have to postpone until you are ready to do it

Beta Kent

Tate's POV“Idiot,” I cursed myself as I ran away from Alpha Delvin. He kissed me. He held me and I was sure he knew already that I was a girl.I stopped running so that I could catch my breath before I joined the other trainees. I could hear the trainers giving instructions. When I was sure that I had rested enough, I joined them, and I could see Tristan trying to get my attention, but we had no time to talk as we were being given exercises to do.A lot of the trainees were stealing glances at me and I cursed Alpha Delvin in my mind for putting me in a situation like that. My plan was to go to the training and come out with flying colors just to prove those who thought females couldn't be Alphas wrong. But Alpha Delvin changed that because, in the eyes of the other trainees, I will always be that boy who got called by Alpha Delvin on the first day of training. “Okay, everyone. That is all for this morning. Eat your food, have your bath, and get some rest. We return at one o'clock,”

The Fight

Ade's POV “Fall into formation, guys; stop being a girl,” one of the trainers said, making me grit my teeth in anger. That was one of the annoying jokes the trainers made that made me angry oftentimes. Why must they refer to girls as weaklings when they had not provided an enabling environment for girls to prove themselves. “You are glaring at the trainer Tate. Do you have a death wish or something?” Kyle whispered to me as he pushed me lightly with his elbow to get my attention. It had been four weeks of rigorous training. Some nights, I couldn't sleep due to the immense body ache, but I never gave up. “Tate, with the way you are glaring at me, it seems you intend to challenge me. Want to have a spar with me?” The trainer I had been glaring at asked me and I quickly looked away from him. That was another problem I seemed to have with the trainers. Overnight, they all seemed to know my name, and I hated that. At some point, I began to realize that everywhere I turned, a trainer wa

Deja Vu

Delvin's POV I had to sneak around just to catch a glimpse of my mate each time I came to the training ground. It wasn't as if I didn't want a mate but I just couldn't come to terms with the fact that I was mated to a male. I had watched the way he challenged the trainer and held his ground. I couldn't deny that he was strong and fast. All the features I saw in him made me more attracted to him.I had asked to be given a female one night days after I met my mate. I reacted normally but I just couldn't go ahead with having sex with the female presented to me. I felt as if I was cheating on my mate. The door to my office opened, and I stopped thinking about my mate to see my Beta, Kent, walk in. He smelled like him. “Why do you smell like him?” I asked frowning at Kent. “Who?” Kent asked pretending not to understand what I was talking about.“You know who I am talking about,” I said firmly. “If you mean Tate, then I smell like him because I spent time with him and touched him,” Ke

Right Thing to Do

Tristan's POV“I had no option at first, Mum, because I didn't know that he was only using me, but now that I know, I will have to do the right thing,” I said to my Mum on the phone.I had sneaked to the spot where I was to call my Mum. Tate had excused himself and I had excused myself from Kyle to make the important call. “No matter what happens, Tristan, please do not do anything wrong; remember that there is karma,” Mum said, and I knew she was crying. “I know what to do Mum. I will get back to you,” I said sadly. “Stay safe. You know you are all that I have got,” my Mum said pitifully.“I will be careful Mum,” I said before ending the call.I was the bastard son of my father, the Alpha of Knotted Sky. My mother was his lover for many years before he found his mate. My Mum got pregnant, and he begged her to keep it a secret. After he met his mate, he still pleaded with her to keep me a secret before he slyly relocated my Mum and me to another pack and never contacted us again un
