Keeping My Alpha Seat のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 41 - チャプター 50

Delvin's POV “You are welcome home,” Laura, my housekeeper, greeted, smiling happily. She had always been another figure in my life. She saw that I didn't have a mother or a mate, so she dedicated herself to seeking my well-being all the time. “Thank you, Laura. I hope none of the girls are here anymore as I have instructed,” I asked. “No. They all left, but Deli comes here every day hoping to see you. At some point, she suggested seeing you at the training camp, but I told her not to try it,” Laura said. “I might need you to send for her, but it might not be today,” I said, and saw dissatisfaction in Laura's eyes before she quickly covered it with a smile.“Okay, Alpha,” she said, but her smile didn't reach her eyes. Laura never liked the fact that I had girls living in the house that I picked at random whenever I wanted to burn off some excess energy. She had voiced her opinion more than once but I had always ignored her. I wasn't holding the girls captive. They were free to go

Ade's POV “You don't look excited about this,” Tristan observed as we sat in the car taking us to Delvin's house.“I am not excited at all,” I said. There was no need to deny that. I was apprehensive about what the next three days might hold so excitement wasn't possible at all. “Why are you not excited?” Kyle whispered, trying to avoid being heard by the driver, but that was of no use. We were all aware wolves, and we had super hearing, and in a small space like a car, the driver was definitely going to hear us. The best thing we can do is not to mention names. “I am not. There is suspicion written all over this. Why us? Why not some experienced trainers? Besides, his pack has over eight hundred elite soldiers, not to mention the ones that guard the pack and the borders. Why choose us? We are trainees,” I said putting a voice to my inner turmoil. “You are just making an anthill out of a mole, Tate. He is probably including this in our training. We must be on guard, though; this g

Delvin's POV I smiled as I walked up the stairs. It was a smile of satisfaction at achieving my aim. I saw the lust in Tate's eyes. I saw the fire, I saw the want, and the need. I saw it hold. I saw the longing and the wish. I knew it was only a matter of time before she acted on her feelings because I was sure her wolf was howling and yearning for me.I wasn't going to force myself on her, no. I wanted her to come to me herself. It would make the job of convincing her easier. She wanted me to take it out of her hands by fighting her resistance, but I wasn't going to give her the fulfillment of blaming me for everything. I got to my room and got dressed for dinner. I had intentionally waited there for Tate and her friends. I knew they were coming in and I had intentionally removed my clothes at that moment. I had left the shirt on the bar stool but I wasn't going back downstairs to take it. Instead, I wore another shirt and headed back downstairs.Everyone stood up when I got to the

Ade's POV “Where is the whore you were with?” I asked as I angrily dropped the trays of juice and ice on the table with a bang.“You might want to lower your voice, she is in the bathroom cleaning up. Besides, she is not a whore; her name is Delilah,” Delvin said with his voice devoid of any emotions, and his eyes were so unreadable that it grated on my nerves. “You defend her now,” I asked angrily.“It is an honorable thing to do. She just warmed my bed. She gave me the best sex of my life. You should have seen the way she sucked on my dick. I am not small at all but she took me all the way to the back of her throat. She…” Delvin would have continued but I cut him off.“That is enough. I do not need the details of your illicit affair,” I said gritting my teeth. “Illicit affair? Tate, I do not have a mate. You won't accept me and Adelia is missing. Shouldn't I live my life?” Delvin asked then went to sit casually on the couch at the foot of his bed.“You disgust me right now, Delvi

Delvin's POV I sat in my office awaiting the king’s arrival. Every trainee had been told of his visit. Kent was driving the Omegas on camp mad with cleaning and keeping everywhere clean. I didn't share his enthusiasm to receive the king. His visit didn't sit well with me. It was like breaking a protocol that has long been standing. Although it was not written anywhere that the king could only come to the training camp on the final day of training, it still felt as if he was breaking the rules to me. We had returned to the training camp a day earlier than I planned. I didn't like the interruption either. I had wanted to spend time with my mate outside the camp, especially since we now had an understanding.I heard the bugle go off and grudgingly stood up from my seat. It meant that the king had been spotted by our scout. I walked out of my office to see that trainees were already in formation to welcome him. “You don't look happy to receive the king. He might sense it,” Kent said.
