The next morning when Jade woke up, she noticed how quiet the house had become. As she walked out of the hall, she glanced at Jace's door. He could have left the house early because she heard some movements at dawn. She sighed and went to the kitchen to make herself some coffee. This was her last cup and she needed to get more.
