Lana’s POV When the chamber returned to me, it did so gradually, as though reality itself hesitated to reclaim its place. The first thing I became aware of was the pressure in my chest, a heavy, lingering sensation that made breathing feel intentional rather than instinctive. The second was the low hum of the vault, no longer aggressive or probing, but subdued, almost contemplative, like something that had said what it needed to say and was now waiting to see what would be done with it. Kael’s hands were on my shoulders. “Kamari,” he said quietly, not shaking me, just anchoring me. “Stay with me.” I blinked, my vision swimming as the lattice of light above us dimmed to a faint, dormant glow. The fragments that had once swirled violently through the chamber were gone now, folded back into the structure as if they had never escaped.
