Alaia POV At some point during the drive, I drifted off to sleep. I just couldn’t handle anything else happening, so I forced myself to shut down. Lying in Xander’s arms was heaven. Breathing in his scent brought me a sense of peace and tranquility my life had been severely lacking the past few days. I was sure he had plenty of pack work to catch up on. He’d been with us at Opal Moon for much longer than he had anticipated. My old pack was the largest in the area, but not by much, and the Blue Moon pack was a close second.
