"You don't want to sleep with me, or you don't want me?" Xavier inquired in a tone which he used to use in the beginning of whatever this is. Iris bristled at his tone. She tried to avert her gaze, because she couldn't look at him when he is like this. But he forced her gaze back to his. "You don't want me, Kitten?" he repeated, volume dropped a few octaves, and the room felt colder, just like his stare. "You are married to Natasha" she whispered hesitantly. She knows that's a lie. But she is not sure if he knows how far her betrayal went. And if he doesn't know, she would never let him know. He will forever be Natasha's husband. "And my relationship ended with Natasha after that. Putting a ring on her finger gave her access to my last name. But it didn't give her access to me. If at all it was her whom I married. After two days, Iris found herself back in Chelsington. In the last two days, she barely saw Xavier. He was cramped up with so much work, that she didn't get a chance to speak to him again. But he couldn't afford to show that infront of Desmond who is waiting and watching to pick and find short comings in Xavier. It was always the same game.
