~RheaIt’s been a week since I last spoke to Kai.He tried, multiple times. Texts, knocking on my door, even leaving food outside my room like some pathetic peace offering. I ignored every single one. I made it all futile. I had to.I sat on the edge of my bed in the house wing, staring at the wall, arms wrapped around my knees. The silence in the big estate felt heavier than usual.I was the fool.Believing I could have something real with that naughty, spoiled brat. How did I even let myself fall in love with him? He’s a walking red flag. Younger than me, promiscuous, always chasing the next thrill. He’s just… shit.I should’ve known better. After everything I’ve been through, the trauma, the training, the walls I built so high no one could climb them, I let him tear them down with his stupid smile and his filthy mouth. I let him make me scream his name, let him make me feel safe for a moment, let myself believe that maybe, just maybe, he saw me as more than a convenient fuck. And

~KaiI waited on the rooftop, nerves twisting in my stomach like never before. The candles flickered softly, the vinyl played low jazz in the background, and the city lights stretched out below us. I had everything ready, the pasta which I’d actually managed not to burn this time, her favorite wine, and the gift. Then I heard the door open.I turned around… and my heart stopped.Rhea was walking toward me.She was wearing the dress I’d bought for her, a sleek, elegant midnight blue gown that hugged her body perfectly, with a tasteful slit up one leg and a neckline that showed just enough to make my mouth go dry. Her ash blonde hair was down in soft waves, and she looked… breathtaking. Strong, graceful, and so beautiful it almost hurt.I couldn’t stop staring.“You look… incredible,” I said, voice barely above a whisper. “Seriously, Rhea… you’re stunning.”She stopped a few feet away, arms crossed lightly, one eyebrow raised in that familiar way.“Stop looking so surprised,” she said

~RheaI woke up slowly, my vision blurry and my head heavy like I’d been hit by a truck. The first thing I noticed was the soft, luxurious bedding beneath me, way too comfortable to be the safe house or even Kai’s estate. I blinked hard a few times, trying to clear my eyes, and looked down at myself.I was wearing a bikini.A sleek, deep emerald green bikini that barely covered anything. My body was slightly tanned from yesterday’s sun, and there were faint marks on my waist and thighs that looked suspiciously like fingerprints. What the hell…?This wasn’t our house. This was somewhere else, a beautiful beachfront villa with floor to ceiling glass windows and the sound of waves crashing nearby.I sat up slowly, my head spinning a little. I checked the bed beside me. The sheets were rumpled, but I was alone. No sign of Kai. I ran my hand over the spot where he must have slept, still slightly warm.Gosh… What happened yesterday?Flashes came back, the blood moon, the romantic talk, the

~KaiShe sat up, brushing sand from her dress, and looked at me with a small, playful smirk.“You really went all out, huh? Private beach, candles, food, confession under the moon… If I didn’t know better, I’d think you were trying to propose or something.”I laughed and pulled her back down beside me, wrapping my arm around her waist.“Not yet,” I teased, kissing her temple. “But give me time. I’m full of surprises.”She rolled her eyes but couldn’t hide her smile. We talked for a long time, about nothing and everything. She told me stories from her early days as a bodyguard, the ridiculous clients she’d had before me. I told her about the stupid shit I did in college before she came into my life.At one point, she turned to me, resting her chin on my chest. “You know… I’m still mad at you for that beautiful blonde you brought home,” she said quietly.“I know,” I replied, stroking her hair. “And I’ll keep making it up to you for as long as you let me.”She was quiet for a moment, th

~RheaI stood there on the balcony, wrapped in Kai’s arms, my face buried in his chest as the last of my stupid tears soaked into his shirt.God, I hated this.I hated crying. I hated feeling weak. And I especially hated that this spoiled, cocky, twenty two year old boy was the one who made me feel safe enough to fall apart like this.Kai kept rubbing slow circles on my back, his voice low and warm against my hair.“I’ve got you,” he whispered again. “You don’t have to be strong every second with me, Rhea. Let me carry some of it. Please.”I let out a shaky breath, my fingers clutching his shirt tighter.“I’m scared,” I admitted, voice muffled. “I’ve never done this before. Never let anyone this close. What if you wake up one day and realize I’m too much? Too broken? Too… everything?”Kai pulled back just enough to cup my face with both hands. His thumbs wiped away fresh tears I didn’t even realize were sti
