“Katrina...!” She froze. “Jace?” she called his name, her head jerking up. He turned her around quickly, both hands on her shoulders. “What’s wrong with you?” he asked, confused and worried. He could feel her shaking in fear. Her breath came in broken gasps. She collapsed against him, clutching his shirt tightly and burying her face in his chest. Jace’s expression changed instantly.
