I turned my head and saw Damian lying beside me, his eyes closed, his breathing slow.He looked so peaceful, so vulnerable in his sleep. The hard lines of his face were softened, and the usual furrow in his brow was gone.I reached out and gently traced the line of his jaw, my fingers barely touching his skin. "How are you feeling?""Better," I said. "A little... sore."He chuckled darkly. "You were insatiable last night."I blushed, burying my face in the pillow. "You were no saint either."He laughed, a real genuine laugh that made my heart do a stupid little flip. It was the first time I had heard him laugh like that, and I realized I wanted to hear it again and again."
