Rejected by My Alpha, Claimed by the Lycan King のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 21 - チャプター 30

Serena I had heard it from rumours and from people talking but none of those words could do justice to Darius's pack.It was… for the lack of a better word, enormous. We used horses and I wondered how horses could survive with wolves seeing that horses had strong senses and they would run away from predators but Darius told me that they had had this breed for a long time.“It's a cross breed between a horse and a Centaur. So, like us, it has animal and human instincts and we have a mutually beneficial relationship," he told me and wow!“So, you mean to tell me that you know some centaurs?" I asked him.“Of course. I keep good and cordial relationships with all types of creatures because you never know when a need would arise. So, yes,” he answered and I had a new found respect for him. No wonder his pack was so prosperous. Having so many connections just meant that he could only soar. His pack sat on a land that was hundreds of thousands acres big. It was the largest werewolf pack i

Darius “I was around twenty three years old back then. I had just taken over the pack from my dad.I remember he had said that he and mom had been leaders of Silvercrest for so long that they needed to take a break. He wanted to take mom on trips all over the world and we were all excited. I was happy for them.My older brother was to get married that month and mama was the happiest. You should have seen her face as she helped Jillian with the wedding preparations. She was going to be the first daughter in law and most probably produce an heir for the family. We were all so happy. One big happy family with no enmity between us or bad blood. My brother was happy that he didn't have to carry the weight of the pack on his shoulders.Like dad, he also had his whole future mapped out before him,” Darius began and I was keenly listening. This was it. This was the moment that would influence the decision I would make. After we left the school, he had taken me back to the pack and we had e

SerenaDarius had someone he loved and this was awkward and kissing him would mean that I was open to trying things with him but what was the need having in mind that he was in love with someone else? I shook my head to shake off those evil thoughts and got off him.He let me go this time and didn't hold me back though I felt the reluctance in his hold. I didn't like the way my body reacted to Darius having in mind that even though he had proposed marriage to me, he meant it as a contract and not anything real.I couldn't and wouldn't let myself be carried away because I would be the one to get hurt in the end. I was done with letting people walk all over me and my feelings from Kael to Valen and now Darius even though he was my benefactor. “So, so… are you telling me that your family, all of them, are still alive and somewhere here? Like for real?” I asked him, trying to get us back to the topic that had brought us here and neutralise the awkward atmosphere the kiss had created. “

SerenaThe man was a giant and as tall as Darius. I now see where the good genes came from.“You two look so much alike," I blurted out without thinking.“Yes. He's the only one that has my face," the man said and stretched his hand for a shake, being careful not to touch the bars.“I am Jason Wolfe,” he introduced as he squeezed my hand gently."And I am Serena," I said and he smiled.“It's nice to meet you, Serena. You look so much like Page, Serena. Are you her daughter?” He asked and then he screamed out of the blue.I panicked but Darius wasn't."It's coming. GET OUT!" The man screamed and Darius held my hand and pulled me out.“What was that?" I asked as I looked back at the door that was closing.“We were lucky to find him at his moment of lucidity. Like I had told you, they don't last for long but he at least got to see you even though I didn't get to tell him that you are going to be my Luna,” he said and I wondered at his calm.He was even capable of joking after all that.B

SerenaIt was five in the morning of the following day and I had been ready for a whole hour and I was seated monk style at the ring that had been prepared for the duels.I felt at ease and at moments like these, I close my eyes and envision the world and like a bird, I can see the world at a bird's eye view through my third eye (figuratively).Me and nature blend and I feel a calm that can only come from a supernatural source.I then start inhaling and exhaling slowly and surely as I feel each molecule of air go down my windpipe and blend with the blood in my lungs. That air I breathe in at those moments is like an aphrodisiac that gets me high and rejuvenated.I blend with nature and I sometimes feel as if I am floating on air when I meditate for longer periods of time.It had been long since I meditated and at this moment, it felt as if I had been very thirsty and I was getting the very much needed glass of cool water.I take in greedily as much energy and air as I can from nature
