All Chapters of His Ex Is Now A Billionaire's Wife: Chapter 121 - Chapter 130

To trust my father or to trust my mother. That was the question I kept asking myself. Both of them had never truly been present in my life, and that thought alone hurt more than I wanted to admit.Because if my father really wanted to be part of my life, he could have come years ago.He could have found me when I was a child. He could have been there before I was twenty. But instead, he appeared right when I was about to turn twenty-one… when everything connected back to the inheritance. That was enough. Maybe it wasn't enough to know the full truth, but it was enough to tell me one thing.I couldn't trust either of them. Not Carol. And definitely not my father.“You need to find a tracker locator,” I told Carol, my voice still weak from everything that had happened. “He might have placed a tracker on me.”“Oh, honey,” she replied calmly. “Look out the window.”I frowned before slowly sitting up. The movement made me realise how strange this room actually was.It wasn't a normal room.

Carol was still in shock, one minute she was mumbling to herself, and the next she was practically crying to the lawyers, begging them to find a way around whatever my grandparents had put in place.Me, on the other hand, I didn't know what had gotten into me, but I was smiling, well, inside. One trillion. It was crazy to even say the number in my head because now I was rich. Not just comfortable, not just well-off, but ridiculously wealthy, and the strangest part was that I hadn't even done anything to earn it.It wasn't something to look forward to anymore because everything was already in my name. I could literally walk into a shop and buy the most expensive thing there and it still wouldn't leave a dent in my wealth. Yup, my wealth, because this was mine. For the first time since Carol had taken me, I felt like I had something she couldn't simply take away from me.I knew Carol was after it, but I had my father. With this kind of money, I could hire the best security in the world

When Victor suggested the name Taylor, I was so not feeling it. It didn't sound like a good name to me, and honestly, I just didn't like it. At the time, I couldn't imagine actually calling my child that. But with everything that was happening, with the reality that Victor might not be in my child's life anymore, I suddenly felt like I needed to give my baby something that would always remind me of his father. That was the reason I gave him the name Taylor. And actually, after talking to my baby multiple times and calling him Taylor, the name didn't sound bad anymore. In fact, I think it was growing on me. It was strange how something I had disliked so much could slowly become something that felt like it belonged to him.I felt tears forming, and I immediately had to chant the words from my therapist in my head, the ones that usually helped me regain control before my emotions completely took over. I wasn't going to cry in front of Victor. Not today. But I knew myself. If those emotio

Sienna was in prison, and I didn't have many friends. Honestly, I didn't think friends were even important when you're a billionaire. All we had were business partners, or at least that's how I had always seen people around me.That's how I saw Ronan at first. But lately, after everything that happened with Lyra and the amount of time we'd spent around each other, I thought it was safe to call him a friend. We had been through enough together for that, we went on double dates, we'd end the night drinking whenever one of us was having a bad day, and whenever either of us started missing Lyra, we'd sit somewhere and talk about her until neither of us wanted to anymore. That's why I called him right now. Especially because I believed he deserved to know. The woman he'd cried over, the woman he had genuinely believed was dead, was alive. He was married now, but I was sure he still thought about Lyra sometimes. There was no way someone could simply erase a person they'd loved that deeply.

Lyra:I picked two packs of fresh strawberries and placed them in the shopping cart my dad was pushing. They weren't even for me. They were for him because he loved strawberries, and apparently, whenever he saw them, he couldn't resist buying them.“Sweetheart, are two even necessary?” Dad asked, glancing down at the cart.It wasn't that money was a problem. You already know that's far from the case. If I wanted to buy the entire store, I probably could, but that wasn't how Dad thought. He said he didn't want them to go to waste. Someone else might want them, someone who could make better use of them, and he didn't like the idea of taking more than we needed simply because we could afford it.“I don't understand how you could worry about the world like this,” I admitted, picking up more things from the shelves. “It just gets me.” He smiled. My father had all the money in the world around him, yet somehow he still worried about wasting two packs of strawberries. It was one of the thing
