All Chapters of My Mate is a Vampire: Chapter 201 - Chapter 210

Mother Luna’s POV“That is a serious accusation, your Grace,” the head of the council says to me. I look at Victor who nods once, encouraging me to continue.“But it is the truth, and I know I’m his mother, but I’m also the mother of this nation. It is my duty to speak up on things like this.”The man looked at me. “So you’re saying the Luna intended is a vampire?”“Yes. From the Nocturis clan. Our enemy neighbors.”“But how is that possible? Isn’t she pregnant?”“She is. And that is what makes it worse.”He narrowed his eyes. “Wait, are you trying to say she’s carrying a forbidden child?”I looked away slightly, feigning sadness. “Forbidden child you say. At the end of the day, it is still my grandchild. A royal heir.”He jumped up. “Such a child cannot be considered a royal heir. He is a monster.”Just the reaction I wanted. “Don’t say that, chief. He is still the king’s child after all.”“Yes. But forgive me, your grace, this is a child who will bring calamity upon us and know th

Mother Luna’s POVThe day had finally come and I couldn’t believe it. Things were going just as I had wanted and predicted. And of course, at that point, there was no need for me to lie anymore. The king was going down. One way or another.“And can you show us who this vampire is?” The chief of the council asked.I feigned sadness as I stared at the married couple. Even after I told him not to go through with the marriage, he actually did it. Did he think he would get away with disrespecting me? Even his father, who tried it, didn’t live to tell the story. What would make a child that bold to disrespect me and turn me into a laughing stock. Everyone else saw me as the mother Luna who had no control over her son because I had made the announcement of his union to Thalia myself. Back then, I didn’t think it would be a world where he would ever go against me. Even if he was always stubborn, when it came to politics, he always did my bidding. But I shouldn’t be surprised. That child of t

Elle’s POV“That is a lie. You’re all telling lies,” I watched as the mother Luna shouted at the top of her lungs. She was nothing like the graceful woman everyone feared. And Kerman was not backing down. “Are you sure about that?”“Yes, you good for nothing, ingrate. After everything I’ve done for you. You think you can just throw me aside and destroy my life?” She scoffed. “No, I won’t let you. I won’t let you deceive the good people of this kingdom with your lies. Never—.”“Shut up!” Kerman thundered, sending everyone in the room into a stunned silence. “Stop talking, you good for nothing, lying murdered.”I gasped, too stunned to speak. His eyes were a glowing red, and his hands trembled beside him. It was as if everything he had been holding inside ever since learning the truth about his family was being unleashed at that moment. He marched forward, pointing at her. “How dare you continue to lie? You killed the king of the kingdom. Killed the queen and killed his mediator. You to

Dreamir’s POVI sat in the middle of the long hall, a place I wasn’t very unfamiliar with. In the past when things were still good, Kerman and I actually shared some level of friendship but the death of the mediator and my belief that he was involved destroyed that.“Dreamir?” Elle’s voice called, pulling me out of my thoughts. I got up, staring as both of them walked in. Her belly was the next place my eyes landed on and for some reason, a feeling of joy overwhelmed me. However, it was quickly replaced with grief as I remembered the danger she was putting herself in. Although the laws against it had been lifted, it didn’t change the fact that every day that pregnancy grew was like a ticking time bomb for her. Kerman caught me staring but said nothing. Two days earlier, I had cornered him on one of his strips and poured my heart out on how selfish she was to let her go through with it but for some reason, he looked like he knew everything was going to go smoothly. He was riding on

King Kerman’s POVHearing Elle scream like that was the last thing I ever wanted to hear. In no time, we returned to the palace, and the physicians were already on standby. They said the baby was coming and I believed them but something else bothered me. Why did it have to come with such great force? Was it the shock of the escape that forced her into a labor she wasn’t prepared for?My fists tightened beside me as I stared down at her, watching as she was writhing in pain. The grey mother stared at me. “Your majesty, I know you need to go. Go ahead, we will handle this.”But I didn’t need to go. Hell, I didn’t want to leave. Was I supposed to leave her by herself at the time like that?“Don’t worry about me. I’m not leaving her side.”Caius rushed in at that moment, panting hard. “Your majesty, what do we do? They killed a few guards and took an attendant hostage. Theron also escaped with them. The only exception is Thalia.”I tightened my jaw, jumping to my feet. “How is that possi
