Sister Margaret collapsed before she could finish her sentence. “Sister Margaret!” I rushed around my desk so quickly that my chair crashed against the floor. Adrian reached her at almost the same time. We both dropped to our knees beside her. Her eyes were closed. Her breathing came in short, uneven gasps. “Sister Margaret, can you hear me?” I asked, gently supporting her shoulders. She slowly opened her eyes.
