Bella's POVFor weeks, a peaceful period prevailed in Atlanta, with life eventually settling back into a seemingly normal routine for the first time in a long, long time. There was no fear, no heartbreak, no hopes or dreams slipping from my fingers the second I touched them, no life lived in that manner. When I arrived outside our quarters, the pack was still residing and a shallow mist had settled in the training grounds. I walked across the still field in the chill morning air, even my boots sinking in the moist grass. I sat in front of an empty training area for several minutes, eyes locked on a single thought: Bella.I had been thinking late into last night about all that she had been through. She survived betrayal, rejection, humiliation and times when those around her had made her feel like an outsider. For a while, I just watched her, remembering how determined she looked the night before when she claimed that she wanted to get stronger.
