Corbin’s POV The second Traci collapsed in that arena, I knew the day had officially gone to hell. Not that it had been going particularly well before then. Between the assassination attempt, the wolfsbane, the explosion, the kidnapping attempt, and now a fighter throwing powder in her face during a match, the universe seemed determined to make sure Traci never experienced a normal day. I hurried through the palace with the others, heading straight for the royal floor while guards, healers, and warriors moved through the corridors at a pace that bordered on frantic.
