Jealousy jealous

Morgana’s POVI’ve never felt such burning jealousy in my entire life. Not when I found out Ryker was fucking Delilah. Not when I found out that she’d won a luxury trip. Nothing. Nothing else has filled me with so much jealous rage, the kind that makes me see red.I want to march up to that woman, grab her by the hair and throw her to the side. “Dont even think about it,” Alpha Dante’s commanding voice cuts through my thoughts with startling precision, like he read my mind. I drag my eyes away from the infuriating woman and meet his eyes. But I can't. I just can’t. Not when she’s stroking his length, biting her lip as she does and throwing “fuck yourself” glances my way. She should pray really hard i dont meet her outside here. If i do, it’s on sight. Immediately.“Morgana,”I shiver, my shoulder bristling. “Yes, alpha?”“Watch.”The woman giggles. She looks right at me, her mouth wide open and her tongue hanging out of her mouth. Then she leans down, and the ehad of his cock vanish

Hurt me too

Dante’s POVI couldn’t do it. Not while Morgana knelt there like a perfect submissive, staring at me with the purest eyes I’ve ever seen. The plan was simple. Punish her. That was it. Make another woman suck me off so Morgana could see what she was missing out. Bullshit. I wanted to punish her? I’m the one who ended up being punished. My wolf won’t stop whining. Yapping and making noise in my head. This cursed, one sided matebond. For all my life it has tormented me. And even in this second chance at life it still torments me. Morgana was fucking stunning in that green piece. The moment I spotted it, I knew it would be perfect on her. I wanted to abandon all caution. Pull her into my lap and fuck her while she wore it. That’s why I fucking bought it. Instead, I ruined everything. She cried. Seeing tears in her eyes did something to me I can’t even fucking explain. I hate it. But at the same time I like it. I want to make her cry. At the same time I want her to be crying out

Invitation

Morgana’s POV“Honey, did you get any sleep at all last night?”I force on a smile and gave Chloe, my colleague. “Yes, I did. Just a little.”Lies. I didn’t sleep a wink. I was up all night. Sobbing, then sobbing some more. Then I tried to watch a movie and ended up sobbing again because I picked a sad one. By the time the sun cracked open the sky, my face was swollen, my eyes all bloodshot, and there was no call by 4am asking me to report to work by 7pm so I had to drag my ass to the office at the crack of dawn. Nothing make up and concealer won’t hide. But apparently, it wasn’t enough. Chloe drops a bottle of strawberry juice on my table. “Try and rest, okay?” I thank her, even though I’m not sure I can stomach anything. I make my way to Alpha Dante’s office. I’m organizing his schedule for the day when he walks in. I freeze. So does he in the doorway. Our eyes meet, his are dark pools of an emotion I can’t name. He looks at me, his eyes moving down my body and resting a sec

Fridays are fundays

Morgana’s POVThe rest of the week passed in a blur. On Thursday, Ryker and I took a flight to Las Vegas for the wedding. We arrive at the Darkspire Hotel, which is owned by Alpha Dante. I’ve heard about it a lot, but nothing prepared me for actually stepping into the luxurious five star lobby. The second we arrive, people are already waiting to take out things and lead us to our suites. For the duration of the wedding, we have the entire floor of the penthouse suites. As a couple, Dante and I get one. The suit is gorgeous, furnished in tones of gold and white. The massive balcony gives the perfect view of the Strip, with all the glowing lights and the bustling city life. Excitement bubbles low in my belly. This is the first time I’ve been to Las Vegas, or even stayed in a hotel as fancy as this. Sometimes I forget just how rich Alpha Dante is. It’s barely nine pm by the time Ryker is getting ready to leave. “Where are you going?” I ask, looking up from my phone. He gives me an

Tensions rising

Dante’s PoV“Alpha, Karl was spotted at the airport. Reports say he boarded a flight for Las Vegas.”I pause my typing. Julius isn’t here, he’s back in West Coast keeping things under control till I return home. I turn to the phone on speaker. “What the fuck is he doing here?”He sighs. “We’re not sure yet, alpha. Could there be a chance he was invited to the wedding?”Melissa won’t do such a thing. She doesn’t know Karl. The majority of the time she spends her days in Las Vegas, blending in with the humans and pretending to be one of them. “There’s no chance,” I turn back to my laptop. “I’ll have some men keep an eye on him over here.”“Of course, Alpha. How is Mrs Hamilton?”“Julius, don’t fucking piss me off.”“My apologies, alpha.”I end the call and slam my phone face down. This was supposed to be a peaceful weekend. Spend the time with my sister, and make sure to avoid my sons wife. Yet I know she’s here. She’s close by. My wolf won’t let me rest. All night he’s been botherin

Rifts in the past

Morgana’s POVMelissa’s friends are the prettiest and sweetest women I’ve ever met in my entire life. According to her, they are her closest best friends ever. Nora, Amby, Charlotte and Elaine. Just after a few minutes of spending time with them, I find myself envying their friendship. In a good way, of course. Painfully, it makes me remember Delilah. I used to imagine we’d have this kind of ride or die bond. But instead she wanted to jump to the die part. But only on my side. So as we spent the day picking out bridesmaid dresses for Sunday, I tried to imagine I was a part of this warm and utterly supportive friend group. And it was fun, really fun. I started to forget about my cheek hurting under the layers of concealer and color corrector, or the fact that Ryker was probably awake by now. I was really really having fun. Until he came in. Alpha Dante’s aura crashes into me before he steps into the luxury store. Melissa had cleared out an entire floor for us, so I knew that o

See through glass

Morgana’s POVHours later, I’m back at the suite. My entire body feels like I’ve been run over by a truck. No, ten trucks. Ryker is awake by the time I walk in. He’s in bed, eating a huge bag of chips and scrolling aimlessly on his phone. When I walk in, he turns to me. His eyes rest on my cheeks and narrow.I brace myself for the sharp sting of accusation, but instead what he says next completely floors me. “What happened to your face?” I blink, staring at him like an alien had taken over his body. “My face?” I ask, touching my cheek. He throws a chip into his mouth. “Duh. It’s swollen. Did you fall? Walk into a pole?”No, Ryker, I didn’t walk into a fucking pole. You hit me, after accusing me of cheating. And then right after, you tried to rape me. “You seriously don’t remember?” I end up saying. He blinks, stupefied. “Remember what?”I let out a heavy sigh. “I’m tired. I’ll go take a shower.”“Where did you go today?”“Bridesmaid dress shopping with your aunt.”“I didn’t k

Investigative touches

Morgana’s pov“A-alpha?” My voice comes out as a breathless whimper, my breath catching in my throat as I feel his hands slide up and down my waist. I bite down on my lower lip, apprehension filling my belly. “You looked beautiful tonight,” he leans down, whispering in my ear, his hot breath making me shiver deliciously. His hands stay on my hips, not moving higher or lower. “This dress,” his finger tips slid low, edging the hem of my dress. “Karl was looking at you like a fucking starved dog,”I suck in a sharp breath, goosebumps covering my skin. His touch is hot, sending goosebumps all over my skin. “I…I didn’t wear it for Karl,” I gasp softly. “Hmm?”I try to turn my head but I’m only able to get a small glance at him. “I wore it for you, daddy.”For a second, he’s shocked. His hands still and his brows quirk by a half inch. “Is that so?” He muses, the corner of his mouth twitching into a smirk. The next thing, he pushes me forward, forcing me to hold into the glass wall over

Confront me to my face

Morgana’s POV:An hour later, I've showered and changed into an identical black gown. The tingling feelings from my little tryst with Alpha Dante have all fizzled into nothing, and the club feels even more like hell. I don’t see Alpha Dante again for the rest of the evening. I'm walking down the stairs and rejoining the noisy club below when I spot Ryker. Or rather he spots me first, grabs my arm and pulls me into a semi-quiet spot.“What are you doing here?” he fires immediately, his eyes filled with suspicion.Delilah’s scent hangs thick around him, like a cloud. His eyes are hazy, and his hair looks like he’s ran his hand through it multiple times, or someone else ran their hands through it. There’s a faint lipstick mark on his neck that looks like he hastily tried to wipe it off.Everything points to one conclusion.I wrench my hand out of his grip. “What? Aren't I allowed to have fun? Or should I ask your permission first?”His brows furrow. “The fuck is up with that attitude?”

Awakening

Morgana’s POVI don’t know how I make it back to the suite.Ryker doesn't come home. I stare at my phone all night, unable to sleep, wondering if he’d grow a conscience and send me a message explaining his whereabouts. It’s stupid, I know. But don't I deserve a text at least?I wait till the sun comes up and nothing. No message, no call, no explanation.I feel half dead and equally look like shit. My eyes are dull and my skin has a gray tint, I literally look like death itself. After a long shower where I spent most of the time scrubbing my skin trying to return some color, I got ready for the day.As it’s Saturday, most of the wedding preparations are taking place today. I recall Melissa talking about the rehearsal by 5pm, and wine tasting somewhere between 4pm and 11am. The rest of the day goes by in a blur.I’m dragging myself through it like my body weighs ten million pounds. During the wine tasting, Melissa asks to speak to me. She’s stunning, dressed in a baby blue gown that hu
