Gianne“Good morning, Miss Morgan,” a coworker greeted me on my way to my office.“Good morning,” I replied.I opened the door to my office and was welcomed by the familiar scent of paper, ink and electronics. The solid air freshener in my office contributed to the pleasant scent. I dropped my bag on the table, flipped the window and upper wall blinds open, and turned on my air diffuser.I expected HR interference today. But before that, I had to deal with the secretary. She's not in the office yet.I paced up and down in my office, can't think of a better way to do this other than confronting her. Gosh I can't think straight for once, I pulled my hair. Kicked the metal bottom of the chair in anger which immediately backfired. I held my feet crouching down in pain.A soft knock came on my door. I stood up smoothening my dress and my hair.“Come in.”The secretary came in, her head low. Fidgeting with her fingers. She walked closer to me.“Good morning,” she barely found her voice.Wha

He's yawning again. I can't blame him, but someone is clearly dying of suspense here.He forced his yawn to stop, but couldn't stop the water running down his eyes. I tapped my shoes against the floor, my hands resting at my sides. My head lowered as I shook it. From the corner of my eyes, I saw Chyna raising her other hand in coordination.“But…?”“I'm really sorry,” he apologized again. “But she'll need time to recover, even after she has been discharged.”“Is that all?” I asked.“That's all,” he replied, walking away almost at a run as he checked the time on the wall.Poor guy probably hasn't slept for days.Chyna stood up, and we followed the nurse into the ward, where
