Chapter Thirty-One: Rage

Sage P.O.V Lee's right, I can't fuck this up anymore. I have to be there for our mate. What was I thinking? I know this is going to be dangerous for her, but I can protect her. I should have realized that from the start. Lee finally gives me back control,l and I'm looking at Mandy through my own eyes. God, oh, she is beautiful. "Lee is right, you're my mate, and I shouldn't be ashamed or scared. You're right, we should just be together, just us two and no one else….I love you." I said, looking deep into her big, beautiful eyes. She just sat there looking up at me, a half-smile appearing on her lips like she was still unsure whether to trust me or not. "I know I have screwed up in the past; it was because I was scared about us, about what everyone would do and say, about how you could get hurt, and that was the last thing I wanted. I can't stay away from you; I can't deny the feelings I have for you. I love you, and if I have to, I'll spend the rest of my life trying to earn your

Chapter Thirty-Two:Amanda

Amanda's P.O.V As I lay in bed cuddling up to Sage, I couldn't help but smile. I was downright happy. I couldn't help but think back to the conversation I had with Vanessa when we were coming up with the plan. I never believed it would work. I was over-anxious and kept thinking it was going to blow up in my face, but Vanessa was certain it was going to work. The plan to make Sage jealous…. Step one: Vanessa will call her cousin Liam and let him in on what we want to do. Step two: Arrange for Liam to meet up and hang out with me. Step three: Always text Liam out in the open for Sage to see how happy I am. Step four: When Sage finally caves in, make the point that I can be with whoever I want; let him know that I am inviting Liam over to meet my parents. Vanessa took no time in texting Liam, letting him in on the plan, and he didn't take any time at all in texting back, saying that he was in. I am so happy that they helped me out, as it all led to this. Everything has fina

Chapter Thirty-Three: Us

Sage's P.O.V My mate truly is amazing. I can't believe she is mine. She always surprises me. I thought she would run a mile when I mentioned the dom and sub stuff, but she didn't. She's really willing to try it, just to please me. I know I'll have to take it easy with her to begin with, but maybe if she likes it, we could try other stuff. "Just don't fuck it up!" Lee mind-linked me; he's still bitter about all the other times I fucked it up. "Lee, I promise I won't fuck it up. You and Mandy made me see sense. I'm not going to ruin this." I mind-linked him back, trying to convince him of my changed ways. "You do realise Mandy can hear everything we're saying, right?" Lee asked. "I'm not stupid. I blocked her from hearing our conversation the second you spoke up," I said, " Does he really think I want our mate to hear everything we say? How would I ever be able to surprise her if she did? Lee didn't say anything for a while, like he was contemplating something. I just don't kn

Chapter Thirty-Four: The Room

Amanda's P.O.V Sage gently puts the blindfold on me and ties it at the back. He takes my hand and guides me inside, what I can only assume is his closet. What are we doing in here? This is a bit weird. "Wait right here and stay still," Sage said as he gently positioned me up against the wall. This is definitely his closet; I can't see anything, but I can feel clothes hanging up. "I made this room years ago, and I have never revealed it to any other girls. I made this room just for my mate and me, so we would have a room to play in." Sage stated. "Ok, Alpha, show me." I gulped and licked my dry lips; this was making me a little nervous, but also very excited. "Not yet, babe; after I am done with you, then you can see what the playroom looks like," Sage said, taking my hands in his as he led me through a door and to what I can only assume is a bed. "I need you to get on here, on all fours, and stay still." He says to me; I willingly oblige as he helps me up onto the bed. It

Chapter Thirty-Five: Slide On Over With Me

Amanda's P.O.V We made love in the shower and then washed each other. We both collapsed on the bed, exhausted, and drifted into slumber until the morning came. It's now 6 am and I am still so exhausted. Sleep is what we should be doing, but we had to get ready and organize the formal ball we're hosting. I am nervous about letting our loved ones know that we're mates. I got our breakfast, and we both started eating fast. We have lots to do, and I will be making dinner tonight. Sage is helping me plan and cook the 5-course meal we are having tonight for our family and close friends. We are frantically rushing around, trying to get everything done. I hear my phone vibrating on the kitchen counter; I go over to it to see who it is. "Who is that from?" Sage asks, coming over to me and wrapping his arms around my waist. "It's a text from Duke," I reply, leaning into his embrace and reading the text. 'Hey, baby girl, where have you been? I know you're with Mr. Liam again, aren't y

Chapter Thirty-Six: All Or Nothing

Amanda's P.O.V I am running into the cold and dark forest. I feel hurt and numb at the same time. I just want to get away from it all. I am running away from the pain, the misery, the hurt, the betrayal, everything that is too painful to feel at the moment. It didn't take long for me to shift, which surprised me, but it hurt like hell. I could hear and feel my bones cracking, but it all happened so fast. Now Anaya is in control, and I'm in the back seat, but all my senses are heightened. I can smell better, and I can hear everything around me, but on the downside, I can also hear Sage mind-linking me. I just growled at him, and so does my wolf, Anaya. "Let's go to the cliff; it's meant to be beautiful there." I mind-linked Anaya; it was a strange feeling, but at the same time it felt natural, like I had been talking to her my whole life. Anaya ran as fast as she could, our surroundings flying past us, as we finally reached the top of the cliff. We walked towards the edge, looking

Chapter Thirty-Seven: The Dinner

Amanda's P.O.V We walked back to the house hand in hand. I hope I was doing the right thing by listening to my heart and not my head. Sage was begging me, and he never begged; he was more worried about losing me than his reputation, and this was a good sign, maybe even a sign of things to come. I had never seen Sage so vulnerable, and it filled me with warmth that I got to see that side of him, the side that he very rarely shows. "Baby? What are you thinking about, sweet cheeks?" Sage asked me, giving me a nervous smile, which I had never seen before. "Oh, just the way you were begging, 'oh baby, don't leave me. Oh please, I love you. No, don't go, baby, come back." I said, mimicking his voice and giving him a wink. "Oh, you are going to get it now, missy," Sage replied, running towards me, grabbing me, and tickling my sides. "Who's laughing now? Huh? Haha, my ass." Sage said, laughing at me. I was laughing so much from his tickling fingers that I was about to pee myself.

Chapter Thirty-Eight: The Ball

Amanda's P.O.V The dinner with our family and close friends went surprisingly well, and now here we are preparing for the formal ball, which is just a mere six hours away. We've all been working so hard, and I'm astonished at how the room is finally coming together. Just another six hours and then Sage will make the announcement, declaring me as his mate. I am currently running around with a headpiece in my ear so that I can contact everyone who is helping Sage and me with this important evening. "Yes, my Sage," Anaya said. She was so happy that she was beaming and going around in circles in my head. "Yes, I know how happy you are, so am I," I replied and continued mind-linking back and forth with her until I felt two strong arms pull me and squash me against a strong, hard chest. My hair was flipped over my shoulder, and I felt lips kiss me on my mark, sending shivers down my spine. I moan and wiggle my ass on my mate's crotch, then I feel his low growl vibrate off my body. Wo

Chapter Thirty-Nine: Graduation

Amanda’s P.O.V I can't believe it had been five months since the ball, and even though it had come and gone really fast, it had been wonderful, and now it was time to get ready for graduation. Sage and I walked hand in hand into the gym; we had not separated once since the ball, and we were so happy that high school was finally coming to an end. It seemed to be such a wonderful day as well; it wasn't raining, and it wasn't even cold either. Today was perfect so far. We walked through the gym and straight out through the double doors to get outside when we saw Duke walking over to us. Duke hugged both of us, and he was in a great mood; he couldn't stop smiling. “Hey guys, this is my mate, Derek. Derek, this is my little sis Amanda and her mate Alpha Sage.” Duke said, introducing us. We all nodded to each other, and then I turned my attention to Duke. “How have you been, Duke?” I asked, and he just kept smiling at me; he was like a Cheshire cat. “I am so, so good. The best days o

Chapter Forty : What The Hell!!!!

Sage’s P.O.V Vickie really is on my shit list now. What the hell is her problem? She knows I don't want her anymore. Hell, I even announced it in front of everyone at the ball that Amanda is my mate and I proposed to her that night as well. Is she seriously that delusional to think that I would leave my mate for her? That's it; I have had enough of her crap. I am calling my grandfather's best friend down here to help me. “Jack, I need your help with all of this,” I said, mind-linking him, and I knew that he was already here. He is my grandfather's Beta and a family friend, so he was here to celebrate with us, but that all turned to shit when Vickie came and ruined everything with her lies. “What have you been doing this time, young wolf?” Jack asks, stepping through the crowd to stand in front of me. Jack has the special ability of seeing who is telling the truth or lies, and for that, he also has the job of pack cleaner, which is better than just outright accusing people of comm
