Soon, the male colleagues who had publicly supported Mr. Hawthorne and Mason in the company were exposed one by one. The remarks they had made in meetings to back them up, along with the things they had said mocking female colleagues in internal group chats, were all screenshotted and spread online. Quite a few people flocked to my social media accounts to leave comments, apologizing on their behalf for how they had bullied me back then. Looking at those belated apologies, I found them comical. Some wounds couldn't be erased with a simple apology. I didn't look back at that mess again. I turned around, submitted my résumé, and soon joined Imperium Group, one of the leading companies in the industry. Within three months, the project I was in charge of became the performance highlight of the department.
