"No, I'm perfectly fine," Celeste screamed and wiggled herself free from his grasp.Cassian watched as she ran, and a smile couldn't help but curl to his lip."She's cute," he said and froze."Wait, why am I thinking such?" he asked himself and gently ran his hand through his hair and walked back to the couch and took out his laptop for a meeting.Upstairs, Celeste collapsed onto the bed and held the pillow over her head, screaming so loud she could feel the earth shake."Ahhh, I can't believe this happened. Are we officially a couple?" she thought and bit her lower lip, but then she stopped..."Wait, why am I excited? He asked me nothing and now I'm assuming things," she said to herself and her excitement died."I just want to go home," she said and moved to the shower. Later, the running of water was heard. She walked out minutes later wrapped in a short mini towel. She sighed in relief as he wasn't in the room, she changed into a comfortable black skirt and blue shirt, then gently

"No phones," Vincent said and snatched the phone from my hands, this made me groan."Stop, I need it," I said and he raised a brow."Why?" He asked and my lips parted to say a word, but instead his lips crashed onto mine, I froze, my lips didn't move, just numb, and he pulled away."Kiss me, Laura," he said, and my cheeks suddenly felt warm. I placed my hands on them and couldn't help but blush."Come on," he purred, looking like a puppy waiting to be pampered. I felt my heart skip a beat and I gently moved closer and pecked his lips."No more rounds," I said and he chuckled. He stood up and I just stared at his perfectly shaped back and his butt, I couldn't help but look away. The bathroom door clicked shut and I reached for my phone he placed under the pillow."I can't believe she's dead! I just saw the news about Laura. I feel so bad, she was so kind to me even though we never spoke a lot," reading the texts, I couldn't help but smile. It's true I protected her but never associated

"The beach is so cool," I muttered, burying my legs in the sand. "Hmm," Vincent said, and I curled my toes, watching as some couple ran and chased after each other."This really is peaceful," I muttered again, and then I felt his hands at the back of my head, gently caressing."Aren't you hungry? You barely ate inside," he said, and I pouted. "Do you want to make me fatter?" I asked and sneered. This only made him chuckle."Of course, I need you fattened up. Only then can I feel you aren't as thin as a skeleton," he said, and this made a smile curl to my lips, but something else caught my attention. It was a male and a female making out in public, their lips entwined, and he was possessively holding her waist. My cheeks reddened, and I looked away as Vincent caught my gaze."Do you want to do that?" He asked, and my lips parted to actually girl complains at him and call it just a public show of affection, but then nothing escaped from my lips.I gently looked away and licked my lips,

"Chocolate factory, huh?" he said. "You really want sugar that bad?""Yes," I answered too fast. "I want to taste everything they have."He smiled a little, but his eyes still searched my face. I hated how easily he could read me.I looked down at the water, not daring to meet his gaze.Vincent lifted one hand and brushed a strand of hair from my cheek. "You're quiet," he said."I'm just thinking about the chocolate," I lied.Vincent didn't call me out. He only nodded and leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to the side of my head. My eyes closed for a second. It felt safe."Alright," he murmured. "We'll go. But first, we finish here."He reached for the small bottle of bath soap on the edge and poured some into his palm. The scent of orchid and vanilla filled the air. Then his hands were on my shoulders, slowly and carefully rubbing the soap across my skin. I stayed still. Part of me wanted to lean into him, the other just wanted to hear "I love you."His fingers moved down my arms, then

Another officer from behind took the gun from the woman and led her back to her ward.“She’s dead,” the doctor said and used her finger to shut Mina’s eyes closed.“Was she a patient here?” the doctor asked and looked at the officer. “I haven’t seen her here, or perhaps it’s because I’m mostly indoors in my office,” she said, and the officer crouched down.“She was brought here. Her trial was supposed to be in a week. She deserved it, I guess. She had killed so many women and even stabbed a patient here!” she said, and the doctor’s eyes darkened.“Yeah, I saw her everywhere in the news,” she said and stood up.“Well, inform her family to take her body away,” the doctor said, and the officer nodded. As they walked off, another team covered Mina’s body with a white duvet.***********Celeste was on the beach. Cassian had made her come here today with him, which was shocking.Usually, he avoided being seen wit
