Silas's Pov. It was already past ten. Breakfast had ended about an hour ago, and I was fully dressed, sitting near the edge of the bed with my phone within reach as I waited for His Majesty’s call. Every few minutes my eyes drifted back to the screen, hopes dropping by the second. He did say he had meeting this morning, so maybe that was why he was late. I was glad he had understood me last night. More glad than I wanted to admit.
