All Chapters of Begged Me For Rejection, He Regretted: Chapter 11 - Chapter 20

Barely stirred a moment ago, Lilith sprang to her feet in one swift motion. She could act spoiled and whiny all she wanted in front of Leo because he indulges. No way she would do that in front of others, especially those who had it out for her.Orion frowns--He knows her too well to miss what her postures are saying:She feels more comfortable in front of the man by her side, but not them. Not...him. He knows because that was how Lilith was before in front of him, when they lived together. That realization upsets him.Should they clear the court for the brats? Lilith doesn’t want to be in the same room as Orion’s group. But she also needs the practice, and she doesn’t have much time.Just this one moment of hesitation, and Lilith missed her best window to leave--“Mother told you to find me here?” Orion walks over with a chastising tone, flanked by Hannah and Clark.Just great. Her jerk ex. His new lover. His new lover’s mean friends who look down on her and insult her. All evil in t

Being an illegitimate son is Orion’s trigger. With his eyes bloody red, Orion walks closer to Lilith slowly with his gamma aura spouting out, “What did you just say to me, RUNT?”He reaches out for Lilith’s neck with a grip, but Leo pulls her behind him before Orion could. Orion raises his legs again, but this time Lilith kicks his leg sideways. This time Freya really laughs out loud: “Did you hear? She calls him her brother! Haha!”Orion would have laughed with Freya, but not this time, when all his attention is on Lilith.“You are standing up against me...for HIM?!” At the moment, Orion is more shocked than angry; his tone has a shade of being so wronged without even himself knowing. He didn’t care about Leo because what could Leo be but a toy Lilith used when he wasn’t around? But now she kicked him! She kicked him on the leg, to protect her stud! How could she?!She is his! Has she forgotten how he almost beat a guy to death, for HER?! Has she forgotten how he was the one protectin

Clark is pissed...AND confused--Lilith’s challenge was thrown at Hannah, and Orion jumped out and swapped him off! What the hell is going on in that unwired brain of his?!Orion hates Lilith! He hated how Lilith was pasting herself on him all the time. All Orion could talk about, ever since that red-fox-neck came to the pack, was how to get some breathing room from her! Orion hated Lilith’s obsession with him, and he wanted Lilith to step aside with grace. So when Hannah showed interest in Orion, Clark decided to help.Clark was the one who sent for Lilith to Night Banquet that night. He was the one leaving the door open for her and led that insulting conversation for Lilith’s ears. Though that little girl wouldn’t be a threat to Hannah, she stains Hannah’s eyes just by existing. Now that Lilith did exactly what Clark thought she would -- escaping in shame, yet Orion was the one who went completely nuts.Lilith had been keeping her distance for days — no more clinging, no more followi

Lilith’s outbreak put the unfriendly “friendly game” to an end.Clark did offer to take Orion’s place instead -- what Orion did to Leo was exactly what Clark planned to do. Well, that except the failing-to-hit part. If it was him, the first “mishit” would have dented that Omega’s head already. On this, Hannah has the same tacit agreement with Clark. She despised Orion’s behavior, too. Yes, there wouldn’t be any consequences for Orion if any of those mishits had found their way to Leo, but it was embarrassment for Orion and therefore on her, when Orion couldn’t even do that.Even she could see that Leo was playing Orion. That Omega definitely saw through Orion from the very first mishit, and instead of being more aware when the ball went to Orion, that Omega slowed down instead, and dodged the balls only so they barely missed him--That not only tugged the heartstrings of his little master, but at the same time, made Orion look like the villain in Lilith’s eyes. Two birds with one stone

Lilith had been shocked when Orion said he could explain — but that was before she heard his explanation.“I told you, I need the support of Hannah’s father.” Only just started, Orion gets tired instantly of repeating his awkward position. He wants to believe that he is worthy. He wants everyone to see that he is just as worthy as Knox, to be a son of the Alpha. But Lilith just keeps reminding him how little he is without Hannah’s father, and how hard he is struggling right now, just to get praise from his own father.“I’m an illegitimate son, and Hannah is not Alpha blood. It’s not easy for us to be together, and to claim the title of Alpha and Luna, okay?” Orion pulled Lilith to a corner of the gate, and then it all came pouring out — the grand romance, the grander scheme--“The Check Mate match is the most talked-about event of the year, and the ultimate blessing for a mate bond. Hannah and I have to win — both of us — and then choose each other in front of the Alpha. This way, we'l
