Quin was suddenly wide awake again as soon as we put her in the car. "Can we go one last place before home time?" she eagerly asked. "Of course, my baby." I nodded. "Where would you like to go?" "To Aunty Abby." "I already phoned earlier. She said we should come over for dinner," Adam added. "That's so sweet. Okay, we'll do that." I smiled as Adam opened my door for me. The drive to Abby's house was just as lively as the rest of the day had been. Quin insisted on playing her favorite songs, and before long the three of us were singing along at the top of our lungs. Adam purposely sang some of the lyrics wrong, making Quin burst into uncontrollable giggles as she corrected him every single time. I couldn't stop smiling as I watched the two of them. Moments like these were the ones I wanted to hold onto forever. By the time we pulled into Abby and Roy's driveway, my cheeks hurt from laughing. Abby opened the front door and walked outside as soon as we all climbed out of the car.
