Alpha Damien’s men won’t strike so soon again,” I said to Maya, who was looking absolutely stunning. “Even if they decide to strike, I’m alone enough to take all of them down,” I added. “Okay.” She had a brief smile after she spoke. “Give me your hand.” She did as I ordered, and now, we were holding hands.
