Rodney.I slept so well. For the first time in a while, I woke up feeling warm. My eyes narrowed before I noticed the soft weight against my chest. Smiling, I opened my eyes, taking in the sweet scent of Evie. She was sleeping peacefully in my arms with her back pressed against me. One of my arms was wrapped around her lithe waist. It felt so good. My body immediately woke up, blood rushing to that one part of my body between my thighs. I felt it getting harder and pressing against Evie’s perfect ass. I had to resist the urge to rub it against her. I just looked at her and inhaled her delicious scent. Now this was the kind of thing I wanted to wake up to. Mornings like this would definitely make my life better. I couldn’t remember the last time I’d been allowed to hold her without her being mildly annoyed. Instead of moving back, I tightened my arm slightly to pull her closer. She moved in her sleep but didn’t wake up. I found myself smiling when I realized I was finally holding m

Evie.I was more than relived when we finished the work and went our separate ways. That night, I chose to sleep with Tommy in the other room.If I shared the bed with Rodney, I knew it would be very hard to control myself. It came with thunder that shook everything and sharp peals of lightening that lit up the entire sky.Standing by the window in Rodney’s office, I watched lightning tear across the sky over and over again. It was beautiful, though scary at the same time.As I watched, my Fireheart stirred. I looked down at my hands and saw tiny golden sparks flickering between my fingers. When another flash of lightning illuminated the entire room, my flames suddenly burst to life. I gasped and closed my hand.“Evie?”Rodney said. I turned and saw that he had looked up from the documents on his desk.“Yes?”He stood and came towards me. “What happened?”“Nothing.”“Your hands are glowing,” he said, his eyes lingering on them. I looked down and stared at the golden light.“I think the storm is affecting my Fireheart.”I said as another l thunderclap shook the building. This time, the flames jumped violently.“I’d it safe for you to be that close to
