All Chapters of Villainess on Ice: Chapter 21 - Chapter 30

I couldn’t sleep last night. I kept turning and tossing the entire night, unable to sleep. I had only managed to doze off before the crack of dawn. I was disoriented when I woke up. I was still too tired to function and just wanted to dive back in.“You are finally awake,” I heard a voice say from across the room.I scratched my eyes, chasing the sleep away. Pausing my hand movement.Wait… a voice? Who the fuck is in my room?I turned to where it came from. I was met with the sight of a toned, muscular back.“Who are you and what are you doing in my room?” I yelled at them, drawing the sheets closer to myself, trying to create some kind of protection. Then he turned, giving a look from over his shoulder.Kai.That was Kai’s back.I blushed as he pulled a shirt over his head, disrupting my view of his gorgeous body. He took off his towel and I closed my eyes to give him some privacy. My hands were grabbed, removing them from my face. I was met with the sight of a beautiful pair of sea-

I had stayed with Paisley until the entire tryouts ended and even walked her and dropped her off in her dorm room. We didn’t spend much time together, mostly due to her being tired after everything that happened today, and she was a bit antsy from the results. Awaiting the results was another stress on its own. It was honestly a good thing. I needed time for myself to think about my next courses of action. Opening the door to my room, I dropped my bags on the floor and made my way towards the desk to sit. I massaged my head, trying to ward off the incoming headache. Seriously, this decision I took was bold but still risky on its own — withdrawing the sponsorship funds and then planning to do this was a bit messed up. But. If my calculations were correct, I would not only be hurting Damon, the coach, the rest of the hockey team, maybe Rozetta too, but also my father as well. I already suspected this whole sponsorship wasn’t from the bottom of his heart. I was so naive no

I can’t believe I just broke the contract.Fuck. What am I going to do?I suspected it had something to do with the betting ring, but for it to be the physical glue that held it together — the actual thing that helped them cover up their shady deals.I really thought it wasn’t that important. This would be too hard to deal with.“Are you okay?” The sound of Kai’s voice snapped me out of my thoughts.“Huh?” I turned toward him in confusion.“I said, are you okay?” He asked his question again. “It’s just that you haven’t touched your food since. It’s getting cold.” He pointed the facts out.I contemplated telling him. If I told him this information, it wouldn’t be with only me. He could use this information against me in the future. Against me when I was ready to expose everything.“I had another vision,” I started to say, watching his face for any sign.“I thought you only had them when you fainted or something?” He asked.“That’s what I thought too. I just felt sleepy, fell asleep, an

“You’re not gonna tell me if it’s true or not?” Paisley asked. I already knew what she was asking about. “What is?” I turned towards her. “Don’t act stupid,” she huffed at me. “Are you or are you not sleeping with Draven?” She asked that annoying question. Again. I hastened my steps to quickly get to my room. “Don’t ask such questions in broad daylight,” I scolded her while fumbling with my keys. “Do you want to start a rumour?” I hissed out, opening the door as I stepped inside followed by her. “So are you or are you not?” She repeated the question, taking a seat on my bed. “What is with you and my sex life? Are you interested in him too?” I narrowed my eyes at her. “Even my father doesn’t ask me this many questions pertaining to my boyfriends.” “Well I was just worried about you, El,” she lay down. “I don’t want you getting hurt again.” “Thank you

I moved around my room getting ready while humming a tune happily to myself. It was the weekend. I had zero classes, but that wasn’t the cause of my happiness. I was happy because of who I was meeting. I had an appointment scheduled with Dante in the next few minutes. It was not who I was meeting that made me excited — it was the reason. I had to meet with other people that would help in dealing with this issue. They were people Dante specifically hired for this job. I got out, locked my door, before walking towards my car. I inputted the address where Dante scheduled the meeting. I got there in record time. I shot Dante an “I am here” text. I checked myself in the mirror while I waited. My phone pinged — it was a response with his table number. I got out and headed to where Dante was waiting for me. I had to pause when I saw him. This was the first time since I had been given a second chance at life that I saw him. Talking to him on the phone, seeing him in visions, did noth
