All Chapters of My Plus-Sized Hockey Luna: Chapter 11 - Chapter 20

CHAPTER ELEVEN – The ChallengeStella’s POVBy the time Jaxon and I reached the arena, every hockey player in the academy had already gathered inside. The seats surrounding the rink were filled with students wearing different team jackets, while coaches stood near the center of the ice, waiting for everyone to settle down. The noise slowly died away as the head coach stepped forward. He adjusted the microphone before looking around the arena. “Thank you all for coming.”His voice echoed through the building. “As you already know, the Intercollegiate Hockey Championship is approaching.”Excited whispers spread through the crowd. The coach waited for the room to become quiet again before continuing. “This tournament is the biggest competition of the year. The team that wins will represent the academy at the National Championship.”A wave of applause filled the arena. “The winning team will also receive sponsorship opportunities and automatic qualification for the National Elite Camp.”T

CHAPTER Thirteen – The GatheringStella’s POVThe house was unusually quiet after dinner.Neither Jaxon nor I had spoken much since we returned home. The conversation about the contract still lingered in my mind, and no matter how hard I tried to stop thinking about it, my thoughts kept returning to the same words. There is someone I’ve never been able to forget.I wondered what kind of girl she had been.I wondered if she knew that someone had spent years searching for her.Whoever she was, she must have been very special.A soft knock on the front door pulled me out of my thoughts. One of the guards stepped inside and bowed respectfully..“Alpha.”Jaxon looked up from the document he had been reading..“The Council has arrived.”For a brief moment, he looked confused. Then he closed his eyes and let out a quiet sigh..“I almost forgot.”The guard lowered his head..“The elders have been waiting.”“I’ll be there shortly.”The guard bowed once more before leaving the room.I looked at J

CHAPTER Fifteen – The Council’s DecisionStella’s POVThe hall remained completely silent after Jaxon’s words. No one spoke, no one moved.I could still feel the warmth of Jaxon’s hand around mine, steady and reassuring, but it did little to calm the storm inside my heart.Every pair of eyes in the hall remained fixed on us.Some were curious, some were angry. Most of them looked at me as though I did not deserve to stand where I was.The Head Elder slowly rose from his seat. The movement alone was enough to draw everyone’s attention. He rested both hands on the carved wooden staff before him and allowed his gaze to travel around the hall. “Enough.”His voice was neither loud nor harsh, yet it carried through every corner of the chamber. The whispers immediately stopped. “This gathering was not called so that we could argue like children.” His sharp eyes settled on Kelly for a brief moment before moving to Jaxon’s parents. “Neither was it called so that personal feelings would decide

CHAPTER Seventeen – AgainJaxon’s POVThe drive back to the pack house was quieter than usual. Most of the players had already gone home after the team selection, but the conversations from the arena still lingered in my mind. Some had accepted my decision without hesitation.Others had walked away the moment I refused to remove Stella from the team.None of that bothered me.Anyone who believed a teammate’s worth should be measured by appearance instead of determination had no place wearing my team’s jersey. As I parked the car in front of the pack house, I glanced toward Stella. She had spent the entire journey looking out of the window. She had spoken only when necessary, answering my questions with small smiles that never quite reached her eyes.I knew those smiles. They were the kind people wore when they were trying to convince everyone, including themselves, that they were fine.We stepped inside together. The pack house felt calm after the noise of the arena.A few members of

CHAPTER Nineteen Y – The Missing DiaryStella’s POVBy the time the tailor finished taking my measurements, almost an hour had passed.I thanked him politely before making my way upstairs. For the first time that afternoon, I felt strangely relaxed. The fitting had gone much better than I expected. The tailor had never once looked at my body with pity or judgment. He had simply done his work, asked a few questions, written down my measurements, and left.It was such a small thing, yet it made me realize how used I had become to expecting people to laugh at me.I slowly climbed the stairs and walked back toward my room. All I wanted now was to finish writing in my diary.Whenever my thoughts became too heavy, writing always helped. It felt as though every fear became a little smaller once it was written on paper.I pushed open my bedroom door and stepped inside. The room looked exactly the way I had left it.The curtains swayed gently in the afternoon breeze. The bed was neatly made.N
