Xian’s POV After dinner, we continued our conversation in the living room. I had stepped out of my room, and as Elaine sat on the sofa, I handed her the application form for the military school. "I want you to read everything written there carefully. If you truly want to be a soldier, I will allow you to enter that academy." The next day, Xian left for work early. Since I had nothing else on my plate, I asked him to drop me off at Maxine's place. "Are you sure you want to go over to her place right away?" Xian asked.
