Chapter Two | Illicit ThoughtsMarianneI stood frozen in the doorway, my body refusing to obey the screaming voice in my head that told me to slam the door in his face and run.Alessandro Santiago filled the small hallway like he owned it. Up close, he was even more overwhelming. The scent of his cologne, dark, woody, and expensive — wrapped around me, making my stomach tighten in ways I didn’t want to examine too closely.“You’re…” My voice came out shaky. I cleared my throat and tried again. “You shouldn’t be here.”One dark eyebrow lifted, and that faint, dangerous smirk deepened. “And yet, here I am.” His voice was even smoother in person, low and controlled, like every word was a command wrapped in silk. “Your mother invited me.”Of course she did.I took a step back, trying to put some distance between us, but he followed, closing the door behind him with a soft click that sounded far too final. His eyes never left my face, studying me like I was something he intended to claim.

Chapter Four | I Want You Marianne Marianne My heart was beating so fast that I thought for a moment that it would jump out of my chest. The words Alessandro just said kept ringing in my ears like a loud bell. “I came for Marianne.” Mom looked like someone had just slapped her hard across the face. Her mouth opened and closed but no sound came out at first. Her eyes were wide with shock and pain written all over. The plate in her hand slipped and fell with a loud crash but she didn’t even look down. “What did you just say?” Mom finally whispered, her voice shaking badly. She stepped closer to him, her hands reaching out like she was begging. “Alessandro, you sure do not mean that. You can't say that to my face when I’m right here. I’ve been waiting for you all this time. I can give you everything you need but Marianne?” She paused and scoffed. “She's just a young girl and doesn’t understand men like you.” Alessandro didn’t even turn to look at her. His dark eyes stayed fixed on m

Chapter Six| I'll Make You Choke On My CockMarianneI couldn’t stop thinking about what he said last night. The way he looked at me when he said I was his. The way my body reacted even when my mind was screaming no. I woke up early, my eyes swollen from crying. The room felt like a prison even though it was beautiful and I tried the door again but it was still locked. Of course, it would be. I paced around for hours, my father’s face kept coming to my mind. How could he sign that paper? How could he give me to his brother like I was nothing? The anger burned like fire in my chest but underneath it, something else was growing. A strange yearning I hated myself for feeling. When Alessandro touched my chin, when he whispered those words, my skin tingled. My heart had raced and I wanted to hate him more for that. The door finally opened in the afternoon, it was a servant bringing in food again. I still didn’t eat because I was too angry and scared, confused also. When the door opened a

Chapter Eight | Don’t thank me yet Marianne I spent most of the afternoon in the same chair near the window of his study. Alessandro worked without looking at me much. He took three phone calls in Italian, signed several papers, and spoke to a man who came in briefly to deliver a work folder. Watching him like that made something uncomfortable settle in my stomach. This wasn’t the man who had forced me to my knees the night before. This was the Don. The one who ran things. The one other men listened to without even trying to question. When the last visitor left, Alessandro closed the folder in front of him and finally looked at me. “You have been quiet, what’s wrong?” he asked raising a brow. “I was told to sit here. So I sat.” I shrugged nonchalantly. He leaned back in his chair, chuckling. “Come here.” I stayed where I was for a few seconds, before walking over to his desk. He pointed to the space beside his chair and I scoffed, moving closer. “I have a meeting in

Chapter Ten | Take Off Your clothes MarianneI gasped in shock when I turned around to see Alessandro standing behind me. His expression was dark, his eyes turning red with anger. My heart jumped so hard I thought it might come out of my chest. I hadn’t heard him come up behind me at all. One second I was alone in the hallway trying to find my way, and the next he was right there, looking at me like he wanted to kill me.“I thought i told you not to leave” he said through gritted teeth.I swallowed, sweat forming on my forehead now as my hands started shaking. I could feel the heat of his anger rolling off him. “I was just looking for the bathroom.”“That’s not the way to the bathroom. You were trying to run away, weren’t you?” He growled, gripping my wrist as he pulled me closer, his fingers digging into my skin leaving marks. I stumbled forward until my chest almost touched his. Up close his eyes looked even darker, like there was no softness left in them at all.“I..I..I was loo
