All Chapters of My Ex Framed Me, So I Dated His Rival: Chapter 11 - Chapter 20

Ivy.I couldn't believe that this would ever happen. We barely knew each other, and now he was smiling at another girl the way he used to smile at me.I pushed the heavy classroom door open twenty minutes late, and the words tumbled out under my breath.I could perceive that raw Alpha power. Tyler's scent was here, and it was mixed with someone else's.“Nyx, stay down. Don't you dare explode yet,” I quickly said as my wolf rumbled in my chest. My eyes found him instantly near the back window. There he was. His broad shoulders relaxed for the first time since he started ghosting me. As if that was okay. He was leaning in close to a girl I had never seen. She was talking with her hands, and he was actually listening to her.Nyx snarled so hard inside my chest I almost staggered.“That female is too close to him, Ivy. Her scent is on him. Rip it off and claim what's ours. He's ours,” my wolf thundered, and I forced my legs to an empty seat two rows over.My heart was slamming so hard tha

Tyler.“Last chance to back out, Devil. She’s not worth ending what’s left of your career over,” Noah blurted out as he skated slow circles beneath the emergency lights. It was already midnight, and I had never dreaded anything the way I dreaded this fight.I knew Noah so well.He would never stop until he won.His stick kept spinning in his hands, and he had that same smirk glued to his face. The rink stayed locked and dark. There were no cameras or crowd. Just the scrape of blades and the heavy scent of two good hockey players ready to tear each other apart.I dropped my gloves, and they hit the ice with a soft slap.“Then stop talking and come get what’s left of your pride,” I fired at him, and he laughed. He charged in a snap, and the first collision was pure violence.I hit him so hard the boards rattled, and his stick snapped clean in half, the wood skittering across the ice.“That’s for framing her on live television,” I snarled, already swinging. “That is for every lie you fed

Ivy.Even after running to get blood for Tyler, Noah still wouldn't let me be.He ambushed me again, and his grip tightened when I tried to twist free. His voice kept dropping into that soft, dangerous register he used whenever he needed me to believe him.“I need you to listen to me this time. I have photos if you need proof. You are running toward a man who already chose someone softer, quieter, and less complicated than the girl he blackmailed and then abandoned. Stay with me. I will protect you from the league, from the media, from everything. Just say yes.”Nyx clawed at my insides, torn between the mate-pull.Tears streamed down my face as the machines beeped faster down the hall.Tyler’s blood smelled even from here, and it hurt me badly.“Let go of me.”Noah only pulled me closer, one hand sliding to the back of my neck the way Tyler used to.“He doesn’t love you the way I do. He never did. Why can't you listen to me? I agree that I lied to you once, but I'm serious this time.

Tyler.Pain radiated from my ribs, but the real agony was the look on Ivy’s face when she asked if I had slept with someone else.I didn't know that things with my fake girlfriend would get this serious. We weren't even together yet, but I had somehow found myself entangled in real relationship problems.I forced myself to sit up higher even though the medic had ordered me to stay flat.Blood soaked fresh through the bandage, but I didn’t care. After Noah and Van left, I thought it was necessary to explain everything to her properly.“The new girl only asked about a particular law. That was it. It was a very short and polite conversation. Noah is lying the same way he lied on national television when he framed you.”“It's alright. I always knew that Noah was up to no good. All I want now is for you to get better,” she responded, and I noticed that she was really uncomfortable.I kept my eyes on Ivy even as I spoke to her.“Is something wrong?” I asked, and she shook her head.“No. It'

Ivy.“You heard him. Twelve hours, and they turn you into the permanent villain and me into the girl who refused to cooperate.”I kept my forehead pressed to the back of his hand, trying to memorize the feel of his skin in case this was the last quiet moment we ever got.Tyler’s blood was already seeping through the newest layer of gauze.Every shallow breath he took made Nyx whimper in my chest.“You keep saying medicine is what you always wanted. Hockey never mattered. So why does it still feel like you are willing to burn what’s left of your life just to keep me from signing that statement?” I asked, and his voice came out weak.“Because the second you stand in front of those cameras and call us a lie, Noah wins forever. The league gets to erase every real second we had and call it protection. I already disappeared from you once, thinking it would keep you safe. I’m not doing it again.”“You are lying here with blood soaking through the gauze and a heart monitor that won’t stop rem
