Lisa's POVMy phone buzzed against the mattress. I reached for it and smiled the moment I saw the sender: Lucien.A flutter stirred inside my chest as I opened his message.[Meet me at Bliss Bar]My heart skipped.Lucien... the future Alpha of Bloodfang Pack... was asking to meet me? Was this... a date?A giggle escaped my lips before I could stop it.I jumped off the bed and hurried toward my wardrobe. Truthfully, I hated leaving the house; the stares… whispers and cruel laughter. It was easier to hide within four walls than become everyone's favorite joke.Still… if Lucien wanted to see me, I'd go anywhere.I slipped into my nicest lavender dress before turning toward the mirror. The smile on my face slowly faded as my reflection stared back at me: round cheeks, thick waist, soft curves everyone loved mocking, and worst of all… no wolf.Among my pack, I wasn't known as Lisa. I was known as "Empty Belly", a useless girl too fat to shift and too weak to awaken a wolf.Sometimes I wond

Lisa's POV"Take her to the pack house."The head warrior's command rang through the air. Before I could react, two warriors seized my arms and dragged me forward.I didn't struggle. What was the point? This was Silver Moon Pack; a rival territory. I had trespassed onto their land, death was the only punishment I could imagine.Lucien… I'm sorry. I couldn't keep my promise.A faint smile tugged at my lips despite the ache spreading through my chest. When you hear about my death... don't blame yourself. Please don't cry.Minutes later, the towering pack house finally came into view.My heartbeat quickened. The massive silver gates swung open, revealing dozens of warriors standing in formation. Then my eyes landed on the man standing at the top of the stone steps.I froze.Cassian Vance? The future Alpha of Silver Moon Pack.He looked nothing like the boy I remembered from the academy. He was taller now and broader. His black hair shifted gently beneath the breeze, while his cold silver

Lisa's POVBy the time I arrived at the pack house, a guard escorted me into the main training hall.Lucien stood at the center, surrounded by five newly recruited warriors.Lucien strode toward me."Perfect," he said with a satisfied smile. "You're finally here."I lowered my gaze, refusing to look at him.His fingers suddenly hooked beneath my chin, forcing my face upward as rage exploded inside me."You son of a bitch!" I slapped his hand away and threw a punch straight at his stomach."Ow!"Pain shot through my knuckles instead. It felt like I'd punched solid steel. Before I could swing again, two guards seized my arms from behind.Lucien chuckled as though my anger amused him."I see you didn't come here to apologize." He leaned closer. "Your father already gave me permission to do whatever I want with you."His lips curved into a cruel smile. "After all... you belong to me."My wolf snarled. ‘Monster’"I don't belong to anyone." I met his eyes without flinching. "Especially not

Lisa's POV"So?" Kael asked, one brow raised. "What do you think?""I'll stay here," I replied.Trying to sound confident, I walked toward the bathroom. The moment I pushed the creaking door open, a foul stench slammed into me.My nose wrinkled instantly. The tiny bathroom looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in years. Mold stained the corners, the floor was damp, and the air filled with a sour, rotten smell that made my stomach churn.Holding my breath, I walked to the toilet and pressed the flush, but nothing happened, not even a trickle. Please don't tell me...I turned toward the shower and twisted the faucet, but still nothing, not a single drop.I lowered my hand and lifted the neckline of my dress over my nose, but it barely helped. The smell still invaded my senses.Grabbing the two empty buckets leaning against the wall, I hurried out of the bathroom before I threw up.I didn't stop until I was outside the room as Kael stepped out behind me and quietly shut the door."I se

Lisa's POV"You don't need to be scared," Kael's voice came from behind me, calm and reassuring."Just keep walking."I nodded faintly and continued after him, trying to ignore the knot tightening in my stomach.Kael walked as though he didn't notice, but I felt every stare burning into my skin.He stopped beside the table and pulled out the chair next to him."Sit."I obeyed immediately, lowering myself into the seat as my hands trembled beneath the table."Hey, new guy."A deep, mocking voice echoed from the opposite side.I kept my head lowered, my gaze fixed on the wooden surface before me."I still don't understand why Alpha Lucien dumped Empty Belly on you." The man chuckled. "Honestly, I thought the rumor was fake."My stomach twisted painfully.So... the news had already spread this far.Nyra said dismissively. ‘That's their problem, not yours’ Kael remained silent, but from the corner of my eye, I noticed his fingers curling into a tight fist.He turned to me instead. "What
