KAMARI POV“Enough,” Silas yelled.And suddenly the darkness in the forest disappeared, becoming as clear as day.I stayed on the ground, panting so hard my chest hurt. My eyes moved around the forest which was now gone… the training ground had returned it was obviously an illusion. My eyes roamed around and there was.. KAMARI POV“What an asshole,” Darvin muttered, his jaw tightening as he watched Silas walk away.“You know what? I could talk to my father. He sits on the High Council. I opened my eyes slowly and found myself in the healing quarter, every bone in my body hurting like hell. I turned carefully onto my side and saw Rigina sitting beside my bed, asleep with her head resting against the wall. I looked toward the window and realized it was already nighttime, which meant I had been unconscious for hours. It was a stupid gamble pissing Silas off, but it was either that or getting caught, and I couldn’t afford to let anyone discover what I really was.
