บททั้งหมดของ A MAID(TE) FOR THE ALPHA: บทที่ 1 - บทที่ 10

~ Ava ~A soft rap at the door grabbed my attention just as I finished writing my daily report. Sighing, I left my desk and crossed the room, planning to open it myself since I knew for certain who was behind it.As soon as I opened the door, the sweet smile of Little Briana flashed before me. She was a cute girl, no more than 4 feet tall, with a button nose and a generous splash of freckles across her face. She developed a routine to visit me every day, especially in the late afternoon, asking for snacks. I was sure this was the reason why she came to me now. "Hello sweety, how can I be of service to you today?" I asked anyway, wanting to know what kind of food she had in mind this time. I kneeled in front of her, leveling my green eyes with her beautiful sky-blue ones, and my ash-blonde head to her shiny black crown."I hab surpries fur you, Miss Ava," she answered using her high-pitched, but seraphic voice. For a five-year-old, she had developed a chest full of vocabulary already.

~ Darius ~Fucking hell, the traitors were right. When I woke up, everything about me felt damn different. My skin hairs had erupted. My nails had grown longer. My beast clawed inside of me, trying to break free. My body thrummed like a blasted wolf in heat, and damn, I was truly burning.Whatever potion they used on me, it worked. I craved for a release now. My cock strained so much inside my pants that I, for a moment, worried it would burst out on its own and break the zipper.Luckily, it didn't, but it was so tight, it was agony for me.Grunting, I left the ground, hauled my petty ass upright, and took off my blazer and shirt. The garments worsened the heat inside me. It was better to ditch it and let myself get cooled by the night air. When this was done, pictures of women flashed before me. Their breasts, their nipples, their long legs that spread wide and exposed what they called 'the Downfall of Men.' Huh. I abhor them all, but I fucking found my mind and body needing to touch

~ Darius ~My lycan muscles flexed as I jumped from a rocky cliff to the top of the steel wall of my pack compound. This side was the nearest to my packhouse, elevated from the rest of the structures inside the wall and surrounded by pine trees. It was the easiest to access—at least for me.When my paws hit the extended walkway of the wall, I paused and looked around the vicinity, checking for any unusualities, but saw none. Like any normal night, bonfires and torches surrounded the compound. Stores were already closed, except for the taverns visible in the East and West gates, and there were guards patrolling every alley of the compound just like I ordered.Pleased with the sight, I continued onward to my packhouse, jumping from the parapet to the spacious balcony of my chamber. I transformed back into my human form with the same clothes I wore this afternoon, minus my blazer and shirt. I remembered leaving them in the forest after I hastily left that woman alone. It was a waste of g

~ Ava ~Because of the rumors about the rogue pack, I never ventured a lot in the forests. I always stayed inside the compound, which my father preferred to call Black Moon City. He had gates erected to keep non-pack members outside the city, but the side of the orphanage house was still incomplete. I felt like he either intentionally did it or construction just became turtle-paced.I never really minded about the unfinished gate until the incident last night. But I doubt such a construction would deter the Silver Moon Pack from attacking. They were werewolves like us, after all, and maybe even better, lycans, with higher intelligence, strength, and speed.I think gates only gave a false sense of security. I think if the Silver Moon Pack really wanted to attack us, they would have done it years ago already.Finding Kitty's stuffed toy in broad daylight helped a lot. If I did this during the night, even with my heightened sense of sight, I would still have difficulty. The forest was ri

~ Ava ~It was already dawn when I arrived at the orphanage house. A palette of yellow and orange replaced the dark blue hue in the sky. Chirping birds now filled the once-silent forest and the chilly air finally disappeared—chilly air that really bit my skin throughout the night. But I didn't complain. I brought this upon myself, after all.I was supposed to go through the cave again. I figured it would have been an easier, shorter route back to the Black Moon Pack, but because I couldn't remember which path to take with all the winding passages, I didn't choose it. Plus, I wanted to be as far away from the alpha as possible, and as quickly, too. Asking for his help was out of the question. I was already in a tight spot with him as it was.Bea, being an early riser, was the first person to see me enter the front door. Exhausted and thirsty, the primary thing I was supposed to do was rest and demand for water, but instead I held my hand up and asked: "Kitty? Is she still in my office?
