Aria’s pov Shame has a way of making you feel small. As someone who grew up never really feeling enough, the hurt and shame I felt from Damian’s words have stuck with me. Even days later I can’t face Damian without remembering the pain I felt in his office. Today I’m meant to attend a meeting alongside him and the others. I look at my reflection in the mirror. I’m putting on a black turtleneck dress that stops at my knees. The fabric is high at the throat with long sleeves. “Lena,” I hear Luca’s voice calling from the hall. “You ready yet?” I quickly put on my earrings. “Be out in a minute,” I say to him. I open my bedroom door and find him standing there with coffee in his hands. He’s been doing this every day since the Damian incident. “Morning,” he says all smiles. “Morning and thank you,” I say, taking the coffee from his hand. “Don’t get too used to it. I only do room service for girls who keep me on my toes.” My ears burn as I sip t

Aria’s pov My brain shuts down and He deepens the kiss. For half a second I melt into Luca’s warm mouth before I come back to myself. My palm connects with his cheek before I even think about it. The slap breaks the kiss and Luca jerks back like I burned him. “Aria…” “Don’t,” I step back. “No.” His jaw tightens. He runs a hand through his hair. “Shit. Sorry. I must’ve misread the signs.” I know he feels bad, but the mistake has already been made. I quickly grab my purse off the ledge where I set it. “Take me home.” “Aria…” “Now, Luca.” He doesn’t argue further. We both enter the car quietly and then the engine roars. The drive back is worse than the ride here. There’s no music this time, just the hum of the engine and the city blurring past. He apologizes the whole way back. “I’m sorry. That was out of line.” I don’t answer. “I thought you were into it. I was wrong.” “I’l

Aria’s POV I sit at a table in the corner as Noah chats away with some business associates. The evening has been amazing so far, despite me feeling like a third wheel on my own date. I take a sip of my drink and watch the room. “And who is this lovely lady?” An elderly woman says, looping her arm through Noah’s. “This is Aria. my girlfriend.” I almost choke on my champagne at that. “Aria, this is Bethany. A family friend.” He says. “It’s really nice to meet you.” Bethany beams. “I haven’t seen little Noah with a girl since high school.” She chuckles. “It’s nice meeting you too,” I say, as I try not to laugh. Bethany pinches Noah on the cheek and he goes rigid for half a second. “I’ll catch you guys later,” she says, drifting off to the next table. Noah drops the polite smile the second she’s gone. “You good over there?” He asks me, not looking away from his phone. “The party’s ok,” I say. “Five stars for the cha

LUCA’S POV The kitchen smells like garlic and basil. I’m next to the stove stirring my spaghetti. I don’t care if I have 3 Michelin-star chefs on payroll. If I’m stressed, I cook. I’ve got sauce simmering, pasta water boiling, and my dearest brothers sprawled around the marble island. Damian is on his phone closing a deal and Elias is pretending to read the paper. Noah isn’t here yet, I guess he must be working late. “Eli?” I say, gesturing with the spoon. “What is this, 1998? Just get the app like a normal person.” He doesn’t look up. “I like the ink on my fingers.” “Weird flex,” I mutter, tossing pepper at him. “Where’s Aria?” The room goes quiet for half a second. “She’s been in her office all day,” I say. “Didn’t come down for lunch.” Which is very weird of her, since she started working for us she’s only skipped lunch twice. I keep stirring the sauce when I hear footsteps. Then Aria slips into the kitchen in s

Aria's POV My legs barely hold me as I slide off Noah’s lap. My skirt is hiked up around my waist and my panties are dangling from his fingers. I yank my skirt down and smooth my hair with trembling hands. I finally turn my attention back to Damian and Luca. Damian's sleeves are rolled up and his jaw is so tight you'd think he's about to explode. While Luca is right next to him, hands in his pockets watching me with intrigue. I look down and notice they’re both fully hard. Noah isn’t even rattled by their presence. He’s just sitting there calmly with his trousers undone. Damian’s eyes cut straight to me. “Get up,” he says as he adjusts himself. “We’re leaving.” “No,” Noah says, leaning back on the chair so relaxed. “We’re not done with our date.” He kisses me on my lips and I flush instantly. “And as you can see Aria is having a good time.” Damian steps closer. “Don’t push me, Noah.” “I’m not pushing,” Noah says. “You want her, I want her, and I don’t m
