Lahat ng Kabanata ng I Don’t Want The Love In The Diary: Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 19

Everyone rushed back, their hearts pounding with anxiety. When they reached home, the house was eerily silent.Finley’s bedroom door was wide open. His bed had been neatly made, and his desk was spotless. His closet door had been left ajar. His faded T-shirts and old jeans he always wore were nowhere to be found. They checked the drawer. His ID and other important documents were missing.Every trace of him had vanished without a clue.Only a sticky note remained on the nightstand.[Thanks for everything. I’m leaving. Don’t bother looking for me.]Trisha snatched up the note as her knees buckled. She collapsed by the bed and started wailing.“I only wanted to teach him a lesson to make him behave! How could he just leave like that?!“He’ll never forgive us. This is all our fault!”Ian stood frozen in place. His hands were trembling as he fumbled to dial the number he had never once bothered to call.He tried calling multiple times, but the only response he got was the cold,

After work, I would take a stroll down the street lined with coconut trees. The red-brick pavement was still warm from the sun, and the palm fronds rustled in the evening breeze on both sides. At the end of the road was the sea.I took off my shoes and stepped barefoot into the water.I kicked off my shoes and stepped into the shallows. Cool water curled around my ankles as seagulls traced lazy circles in the sky, their calls drifting out on the wind.I stood there watching the sunset turn the water into a sheet of scattered gold, and it struck me. Chasing a dream alone did not feel lonely at all.Days passed quickly, and it was soon time for orientation.I dragged an old suitcase and stood before the grand entrance of National Service Academy. The unmistakable emblem atop the gate gleamed brilliantly under the sunlight, and the uniformed guards stood ramrod straight.I took a deep breath and was about to walk in when someone called out from behind me.“Fin?”I turned and sa

During my free time, I still went to help out at Grace’s family restaurant. In fact, after enrollment, the school had strict rules, and students were not allowed to leave campus freely. However, Willa had somehow found a connection and secured an off-campus pass for Grace and me.At the restaurant, I tied on my apron and wiped down tables. Grace was cooking in the back kitchen. We passed bowls back and forth between us, one handing off and the other receiving. Our movements were smooth and seamless.Willa leaned against the counter, pretending to be tallying accounts, but her eyes kept drifting toward us. She could not hold back the smile at the corners of her mouth. When I walked past her carrying two plates of mango pudding, she finally could not contain herself and let out a chuckle.I set down the plates and turned back to her with curiosity. “Ms. Morris, what are you laughing at?”She winked at me and lowered her voice and replied softly, “Oh, nothing! I’m just happy

From then on, life became incredibly simple.Grace and I went to class together, ate meals together at the cafeteria, and went back to that little shop together afterward.News of our relationship spread quickly. The aerospace program was small, and the two of us were already pretty noticeable. Before long, the entire cohort knew about us.Some called us the power couple. Others said that Grace hit the jackpot landing a state top scorer as her boyfriend.Naturally, Brielle heard about it.I figured she would be upset, but I never expected her to do something out of line. That evening, I had just said goodbye to Grace at the cafeteria and was walking back to my dorm alone.I looked down at my phone and read what Grace just sent me. [What would you like for breakfast tomorrow? I’ll bring it for you.]Just as I typed a reply and looked up, I was stunned. The front of the dormitory was crowded with people. In the middle of the crowd were red, pink, and white flowers and can
