Chapter 12.DarcyThe first thing I did once I opened my eyes was check my phone and as I suspected, no response from Dad. Not even a missed call. There are less cruel ways to disown your child. I didn’t have time to sulk. I had a class in a little over an hour and I needed to de-puff the proof of late night tears from my face. I wore a navy cardigan over a light blue button down shirt with light wash wide jeans. I let my hair fall down to my back and I set off. When I got to the lecture hall, I noticed bright green eyes boring into me, and for once I wished it was Milena. Killian really had the audacity to stare at me after what happened last night. I tore my gaze away and focused on looking for a spare seat. I saw a flash of yellow and just knew it was Sunny waving me over. I sat beside her and my nostrils were immediately filled with the scent of vanilla. For the entire lecture I felt someone watching me, that someone being Killian. Did he really come to class to stare at me?
