Lana had barely slept a wink. She had just layed there staring at Jason as he slept. She couldn't bare to refuse him when he begged to stay and the glimpse of violence had made her heart race in a terrifying way. Perhaps it was the guilt that made her feel like she owed him that much. She couldn't leave him yet, she would just have to give him time to process. She traced her finger lightly over his eye brow, his nose, his lips. He looked so peacful when he was a sleep. If she told him what she did he would probably hate her, but more importantly he would hate Clark. She couldn't stand the thought of causing a rift between them. She could never understand when she heard about people betraying their friends. Now that she was in those shoes she had a bit more clarity. "If you watch me while I'm asleep I might get a funny idea." He suddenly spoke making her jolt. "How long have you been awake for?" She asked feeling embarassed, he opened his eyes and smirked at her. "Why? Did you

After So Ra’s tantrum and storm out, Lana decided to have the rest of her coffee to go. Too embarrassed of people's stares to stay there any longer. She sighed as she stepped out into the autumn air. Taking a deep breath she started to walk, hoping that the crisp air would help her feel less complicated. Meeting with her friend had done nothing to help her confidence. If anything she felt more confused. Putting aside her personal life she decided to check in on the professional aspect.Since she was already nearby, Lana decided to stop by the studio. The familiar black-framed glass doors came into view, and for the first time that afternoon, she felt herself relax.Their studio wasn't large, but it was beautiful. The front half resembled a small contemporary art gallery, with polished concrete floors and photographs covering nearly every inch of the white walls. Some were framed in simple black frames, while others were large prints mounted directly onto the walls. Most of them were h

When Jason saw the name flashing across his cellphone screen, he quickly took the call in Lana's kitchen so she wouldn't find out who it was. The last thing he wanted to do was make up a lame excuse as to why her friend was calling him. He wanted to make sure that Lana never wanted to leave him again. He had stopped her last time, and she was still his. He wasn't so sure he'd be able to convince her next time. That's why he made up his mind.Since he convinced her to stay with him, he was going to start over as well. In order to do that, he was going to have to deal with So Ra first. When she called, he had agreed to meet with her again. But this time not at her apartment. Instead, he asked to meet at a small park that was almost always empty. He didn't want to be somewhere where he would be tempted to lose control. She was an expert at making him lose control.Jason drove toward the park with his hands tightly gripping the steering wheel. He had replayed the conversation with Lana

Lana opened the door and saw Clark standing in front of the bathroom."Why did you follow me?" She whisper-yelled at Clark, looking to make sure the others didn't notice."We need to talk." He grabbed her arm and pulled her into the bathroom, then closed and locked the door."Damn it, we can't do this here!" She pulled her arm out of his grasp and shoved him back."Then when are we going to do this? If I don't do this, you'll avoid me forever." He stepped forward, caging her in between his arms and the locked door."I promise I'll make time for you ok?" She placed her hand on his chest to keep him at bay."I don't believe you." He whispered in her ear, slowly trailing his nose along her neck. His breath was warm against her skin, sending a shiver through her. "Please just wait a little longer." Lana pleaded, knowing that if she didn’t de-escalate the situation, she would be a goner again. “How long?” He lifted his head to look into her eyes. Her eyes flickered to his lips, then back

Lana watched Jason disappear into the crowd and sighed. So much for their date. She glanced back at the ice cream stall. She had been looking forward to it, but getting ice cream alone after being ditched by her boyfriend suddenly seemed depressing. She shoved her hands into her pockets and started walking instead. There wasn't really any reason to rush home. It was still early, and she wasn't ready to spend the rest of the day sitting around her apartment. She wandered through a few of the small shops lining the street, occasionally going inside when something caught her eye. She knew Jason's work was important to him. She couldn't exactly blame him because something went wrong at the studio. After wandering around for another twenty minutes, Lana finally started making her way home. She had only walked a few blocks when a strange feeling came over her. Like someone was watching her. Lana slowed down and glanced over her shoulder. There were plenty of people around, but nob
