A Hint of Misunderstanding

For Alpha Logan, it was another year wasted searching for his mate, watching on the sidelines as the pack celebrated his birthday, turning twenty-five seemed still young, but being a werewolf, most would have found their mates by his age.

Sighing, he gazed at the families surrounding him, they all seemed happy and content, while he only felt lonely, wishing he could experience the same thing.

Making a promise to himself, he decided that he would take a break in searching for his mate and rather concentrate on work.

With that thought in mind, he decided to enjoy the rest of his evening, circling among family and friends.

Ignoring the subtle hints from certain she wolves, whose only intentions were to gain his attention for power. Unfortunately, every society consisted of them, he was not into that, having seen the love his parents shared, he decided to keep himself pure for his mate.

The majority of werewolves, would rather remain pure for their mates, than sully it with bedding another person.

He was not ignorant of the workings of sexual pleasure or how to please a woman. After all, he is a guy, who was naturally curious and did some "research", hoping to learn at least something, so that when the time came, he did not fumble or mess up.

It was rather an embarrassing revelation, but now he was confident in his knowledge, to know that when the time came, he would make it special, not only for his mate, but also for himself.

Being with your mate, was ten times better, than being with someone else, so why should you not wait and enjoy the pleasure.

And he wasn't a hypocrite, there could be various reasons, why a mate wasn't pure, it was up to the person to decide if it truly warrants a rejection, being an Alpha, he has seen so many things in life, the good and bad.

He had often pondered, what he would do, if he ever were confronted with the fact, that his mate wasn't as pure as he was.

He hoped that he was man enough to handle things calmly and logically, before taking such drastic measures.

After all, finding your mate, is an actual blessing...
